Amnesia: The Bunker - How to Do the Ultimate Speedrunning Glitch!
The finals is a great game been having a blast playing it recently.
Agreed!
Awesome Review! I didn't quite like the mechanics at first either... but as I acquire more talents like you said, it grows on you. And when I finished the game... I felt empty .... WHAT A JOURNEY!
Thanks dude! It was a slow burner for sure!
Wukong is an amazing game!❤. Good video dude!❤
Thanks!
I know this video isn't an exact play-by-play of the whole story but I find it jarring how huge chunks seem to get missed. For example, you go from learning about the seaglide and accidentally not saving your game, and then skip straight into already having a seamoth. Then you bring up the Sunbeam later as if the viewer is already aware of it, but the first mention of it in this video is the third or fourth message from the Sunbeam.
Interesting feedback, it's nice to hear about how people felt about the video! It's been a while since I made this but I'm pretty sure I referenced building the Seamoth and the previous sunbeam messages but yeah, storytelling hiccups :)
I believe there is an AI behind certain bosses, like erlang is the most obvious example! He learns ur move and give the most difficult attacks to u personally!
Yeah, I think there's some sort of difficulty AI in the background too!
So true… i died so many times with the snake guy
Wukong decided to “retire” because he found out what celestial court gods and budha’s do to keep their immortality - turn normal human to “yaoguai” then kill them to get mindcore, then from mindcore they get medicine to live longer life. Wukong did the journey to west, thought he could make all yaoguai have a normal life, away from getting killed for no reasons. But he found out the ugly truth and he will not join those …
Thank you for this great and thorough review. Its an excellent unique experience in my lifetime in decades of gaming. Ive scuba dived many times and this game scared me so much i had to stop many times to breath and take a rest as it was so immersive. My heart was racing so fast as well. This has to be the best underwater games of all time, as well as survival game types. Hopefully the new sequel will be even better.
Thank you! Yeah, it's a game ill keep coming back to and enjoying! Can't wait for the sequel.
The best way to “fight” the crabs is using repulsion / propulsion cannon by the way so they are actually pretty easy to handle with those instead of a knife
Ahh, yeah good idea
Great video!
Cheers dude!
The sound & music will forever be one of the most epic characteristics of this game.
For sure!
I feel like this is deceptively titled - the thumbnail and description suggest that it's a retrospective'' type of video, where you are discussing the game, but in actuality, it's a let's play summary. Nothing wrong with a highly edited let's play summary video at all, I just take issue with what the video would seem to be, vs what you get when you actually click on it and watch.
Thanks for the feedback! Although, isn't a let's play summary where I look back on what I did the same thing as a retrospective review? That's what I aimed for at least.
The prawn suit can push the seamoth off of land..
Ah I didn't try using the prawn 😂
@LucidLetsPlay yeah. I just wanted to throw that out there, because I've gotten my seamoth stuck on the floating island because I pulled up too far too fast and struggled, but managed to just push it off with the prawn.
He missed so many things 😭
I couldn't fit it all in the video :D
All good. There is always a second cycle
You were wondering why the ghost leviathan baby is in the lost river, and thats actually revealed when you scan the egg tree in the lost river; they are born in the lost river and swim out! :] def feels weird when you go to the lost river after the void or through the areas where adult ghosts are, but a lot of people first go down to the lost river through the deep reef or bulb zone in the maxed out seamoth, so they may have never encountered the adult ghost which i think definitely makes more fun gameplay so i wish it guided the player to those entrances first just a tad better
Agreed, it makes sense from a lore perspective but would be better if you met the adult second, from a gameplay perspective
It is not just some people. Most of dice moved to embark to create the finals and another game. The finally could develop a game free from their EA overlords and what do we have. Absolute amazing server side destruction, and customer friendly systems. Skins cost a lot but you got more than your moneys worth back from the bp.
You're absolutely right
It’s a free game, ofc micro transactions will cost more
You should go back to fight Erlang. He's harder than Great Sage Broken shell.
So I've heard! Maybe I'll revisit it in a future video :D
u didnt knock the 3 bells (leading to hidden boss and secret weapon for chapter boss) fire proof kasaya, this one is also a must for chapter 5.
Yeah! The fire vessel is really useful for the stupid cockroach in chapter 6 too!
For the love of god Why do peeps keep calling it a soulslike?
Why not?
@@LucidLetsPlay In soulslikes, the combat is built around you using a limited moveset to overcome large threats by leaning about their patterns. In black myth and other action games, its built around your mastery of a large moveset and the enemies are a test of said mastery. In short, soulslikes want you to learn the opponent where action games want you to learn yourself.
Very interesting! That's a better answer than I was expecting to be honest :D To me, they're very similar but I agree, it's more action-focused than a typical soulslike.
What did you think of RE2? Let me know below.
4:15 lmao love how you started by picking the acid mushrooms up first
:D Gotta make those batteries.
@16:00 you missed elder jinchi omg😂
That was a fun one, didn't make it into the video though :D
Soo this is something I discussed with my friends that plays the game. The game is really forgiving and the difficulty is basically how hard you want the game to be. You can choose to use spell binder which makes it so that u can only auto atk and smash atk, no spells no nothing but you get a huge atk buff. You can use the vessels to nerf the final boss of the chapter or try to face them at everything they have to offer. You can skip optional bosses or kill them for all the content. I seen people skipping optional boss and face them in NG+. Personally I like this approach to difficulty since for the hardcore soul players, they can just do spellbinder only runs, and they don't get punished for doing so.
Agreed! I didn't even unlock the Spellbinder in my run, but it's great to have soft difficulty choices.
It’s the best game ever
each chapter have a toad boss
You're right!
Dude you perfectly described my experience with this game. I didn’t like the gameplay and thought I wasted my money on this hard game but I’m finishing up chapter 3 and I love it
I know right!
misleading thumbnail. i was expecting a 60 hour review 1/10
😂 Ahh see, you missed the really quiet bits I layered over the video 60 times.
in all seriousness, this has to be one of the most in depth reviews i’ve seen on this game. great job!
@@ashb9761 Thanks, it means a lot!
You missed Yellow Loong, one of the best boss.
Yeah that was a fun one!
not a souls like game 🙏🏾
Why not?
@@LucidLetsPlaybecause the developers said it themselves it's more of god of war
@@tswj Fair enough. Although it has a LOT of elements and inspiration from soulslikes.
missed the erlang battle,what a pity😢
I know! I couldn't fit it in the video lol.
every chapter has secret map and boss, there are 2 endings,if you don't defeat erlang, you'll get the bad ending
Well said.
a short review 1 hour and 40 min
I shudder to think how long a long one is
If it was a soulslike yes. But its not.
What makes you say it's not?
a SHORT review??
I think I might die of old age trying to write a LONG one :D
Good video! You deserve every sub you get
Thanks for the kind words :)
I've been playing for (kinda) the first time recently, and I've done pretty good with understanding that things are propably more scared of me than I am of them. But the sparse reef. Oh God the sparse reef. That was the first time I'm my playthrough so far that I felt genuine terror. The PDA telling me that it seems usually sparse didn't help me feel any better, just starting making me think of what could cause it to be that way. Is the area itself dangerous? Or maybe it's sparse, because anything that enters is quickly swooped up by something else. It freaked me out a ton.
Yeah, Subnautica has a feeling of tension that you don't get anywhere else! The Sparse Reef isn't dangerous AFAIK, but you'll feel like it is :D
U missed alot of stuff wow
I couldn't fit it all into the video :D
@@LucidLetsPlay I totally get that! Did u face the secret boss?
Yeah, it's a really good one but damn it's hard.
Scorpion lord was the 3rd hardest boss in the game for me. 1st is secret boss 2nd was end game broken shell.
Agreed, the secret boss is probably harder than the Scorpion!
Funny how the original game has no auto save, BUT BELOW ZERO ONLY AUTOSAVES WHEN IM STUCK IN THE MURCURY 2 IN MY SEATRUCJ AND UNSTUCK WONT WORK. If your game is buggy as freak, let us choose save files
lmaooo
never experienced input delay. also this game has a lot more interesting details that you missed. the vessel from chapter 1 can prevent you from fire damage while on that cricket.
Ah, maybe it was just a me problem! Yeah, I enjoyed the Chapter 1 secret boss, I just didn't have room to put it in the video :D
Hundred eye “he said when you die and you will die”! 😂😂💀 facts better get that needle!
I hate that boss :D
@@LucidLetsPlay same! Looking forward to future content I hit that sub. Great video. 💯
Thanks dude! I'll be back with more!
A tip I’m sure a lot of you know but if you go back and play through parts where there are what I call honey holes of (guys you can beat to collect xp you can make your future play through a lot easier. I know it’s boring but it definitely has helped me plus you might get something you might have missed. This being said though fuck the tiger van guard!!!!
Pillar stance is underrated 🔥
It's so much fun. Smash stance is better though ;)
@@LucidLetsPlay i like the smash stance I just like how the pillar stance for the most part limits how much damage I take (for the most part) 😂 good video bro and I haven’t unlocked the hub yet either!!
Yeah, agreed! Hahaha, that damn hub... I felt so stupid lol.
@@LucidLetsPlay same here man! Lol
Considering that you said you have no knowledge of JTTW, I can understand why you don't understand the point of the vessels and the cheat code they are. In the Novel, when they came up to facing certain enemies, they didn't succeed without these vessels. The Chinese would have known or even expected these items to be in the game, and understood why you need them. An example is the black wind bear. In the novel, the fire mantle is what saved the Tang monk and his party from the fire caused by Elder Jinchi because he wanted to steal the monk's kasaya. The weavers needle is similar, as was the wind tamer, and even the fan in chapter 5. They were essential to the original story and the only way for Wukong to topple these challenges. So its not necessarily a balancing issue, as its a take of the original story. This may help you understand why these items/secret areas are tied to the secret boss that leads to the good ending, and why only those who explore the games content, or have foreknowledge of the original novel, will succeed in getting that secret ending.
That's really intresting actually, I did feel like the secret area vessel rewards were almost a requirement and it makes sense from a lore perspective. Thanks for sharing!
This game is actually not a soulslike
Why not?
in ng+4 ng+5 hits more harder tha souls games
OMG, we share such similar experience of Black Myth Wukong. I had also died to similar bosses as you, and found other bosses relatively easy. I found Captain Wise-Voice camera issues was bothering as-well, but not too hard to defeat after five death to him. I came to realize if hitting his leg the HP drop was way too slow, it must not be the correct way to attack. And camera issue didn't bother me since I knew I need only to watch my step. By understanding the core mechanics are save all bursts abilities till phase two, when he went down, I used light attack combos and immobilized him "right after" to extend his weakened phase (if hit with heavy attack he will rise much faster) . I finally defeat him within two rotations, and felt so good about myself of figuring it out. The frustrating thing / awesome parts of this game is the dev's team really puts you in the position to think alike Wukong ( who is extremely smart and always figure out solutions in novel < journey to the west >.
Interesting! Yeah, we had similar experiences!
1:07:19 poor scorpion is dead you can only fight him before the chicken skeleton. So does another transformation.
Chicken skeleton 😂
@LucidLetsPlay yupp, he's a chicken, and a god before he was stuff into a cocoon as a experiment. and the hand looking bug holding the mirror in chapter 5 is actually his mother's arm!
43:39 they nerfed wise voice 😂 because it was broken.
I feel like I need to replay the nerfed fight to see how it is
@@LucidLetsPlayit’s 2ez
30:04 you need to acquire a side mission. So u can cancel his wind.
Oh I see it now 33:33 . Just so you know in chapter one it has another vessel too.
Yeah, I got the fire mantle from chapter one. But it didn't make it to the video 😂
I don't think it qualifies as a soulslike because I'm having fun with it and soulslike games are where fun goes to die. Also, running and dodging are two separate buttons and Fromsoft will never do that because y'know difficulty inflation and whatnot.
Very true, I love soulslike games but please, pick a different jump button!
