Project Neo is a fresh take on 3D. It's a tool for creatives who want to get ideas out of their heads quickly and without the ache. This video is something I have been trying figure out how to do I don't know why until now in the last 30 mins everything I have wanted is here and also your nomad video that I will be watching next after I finish this video an see if I can generate more complex an more specific look alike or closely resemble faces for these 500% scaled minifigures I have been 3d printing. I am also wanting scale up some brink build to match the scaled figures.. (I've always wished Legos were huge with the same Lego fill but without looking like Duplo blocks) The first project i hope try is Legos ford mustang set but that will be a lot of filaments. I'm thinking a hundred or more kilograms but i still have to slice and add up model and the wasted support material. but thanks for making these an other videos that I soon be checking out.

@@making-things scaling I don't think should be much of an issue as I'm only needing scale the faces to fit proportionally the Lego kit ill be scaling in my slicer. I think the only issue ill have it part that don't fit on my print bed after being scaled up cutting them into pieces to be reassembled to make complete part will be my biggest challenge being that as hard as i try to learn 3d modeling software i still cant understand or remember the steps to repeat something I followed step by step over an over I have horrible learning issues but there random thing i just can do without missing a beat. so i will for sure hit you with questions about the face generator once i can get a basic understanding of it or parts of it. my only question as of right now which is getting a head of myself in a way but nomad sculpt which haven't watched yet does what you'll explain in that video will it apply all parts of a 3d model using the same skills to applying graphics or different images to 3d models? also that's for replying back to me very much appreciate it. (i struggle with ADHD and forgetfulness is the biggest things I struggle with) So if there's better or more direct way you would prefer me ask you questions other then on here for things might need help with please let me know I have most social medias from reddit to X to TikTok and ones no one know has ever herd of. so thanks again replying back I'm going sleep have to go to work in the morning so i will do my best to check this when I get home from work.

This excellent video helps explain the new Quad Remesher and its connection to Face Groups. (Add on price is so worth it) It is a definite step toward tools like ZBrush's ZRemesher and Polygroups. Near the end of this video, it shows the protection of the boundary edge maintained like a Crease tool. And the ability to add Edge Loops a move very much toward ZModeler functionality. So the Imagine being able to select Edges and crease or bevel with a radius. Defintely a huge step forward. Hard Modeling is not the only world to benefit. The ability to maintain smooth geometry with lower sub-divisions and selective creased or soft edges is so much better than what we get with Clay tools.

Might be better to just leave the background noise than trying to fix in post.

When using the path option with the tube tool, I am unable to create a new segment when tapping/dragging on either side of the initial segment. The only thing it will do is rotate the camera-with either my Apple Pencil or my finger. I’ve searched everywhere for a setting or toggle that I may have switched the wrong way but haven’t found anything that makes it work the way shown in this video. The only way I can make new segments with the path tool is by tapping somewhere within the original segment to create a new point. What am I missing?

That’s great to hear. I like finding alternative ways to be creative, but never know if it’s super useful to others. I assume I am not alone.

I totally agree! I actually learn a surprising amount more from experimental abstraction than I do from a full featured tute making a finished sculpt. Very very good tutes! More!

I love the tube tool! I've used the profile preset tool to make a generic nose, ear, hair and more. I can't wait to try it with the deformer stamp video of yours I just watched!

Love hearing that. I hope the deform trick works out. It’s definitely fun.

How did you get the alpha selector to the lower left corner? I have to navigate the stamp settings to select mine

Good question. I am not sure. What device do you use? I know that there are some differences between iOS and Android. For me, I'm on iOS and when I tap Stamp Settings, it states "This tool doesn't have any specific settings." I am going to try and find the answer for you though.

@@making-things yeah sorry, it’s the menu next to settings. Where your alpha selector is, I have a stroke painting selector.

@@making-things no, I reset all to default and it still does not match yours. I’m using 1.90. Don’t worry about it, just didn’t know if you knew of a setting, thanks!

By the way: To smooth the whole object evenly, the Round All / Round Edges Brush is much more economical with resources than radial symmetry. Great tutorial.
