Only down side with turtle wax is it takes roughly 2,/3of the bottle to do all 4 tires, it gets expensive .

I just tried the Turtle Wax hybrid tire cleaner on a Tacoma and that really bad. The tires had a red clay type mud on them. I sprayed 1 tire on a dry tire, let it dwell, then rinsed it off with my pressure washer. I then applied it again, hit it with a tire brush, and rinsed. I did this 4 times and still a ton of browning in the tire. For the money it did not work well for me better than my normal APC I use. I ended up using the entire bottle on all 4 tires.

My go to car shampoo is chemical guys.

Always do the softest polishing pad first with the least aggressive finishinh polish first. Try LC black or LC white pad with Menzerna 3 in 1, or LC black or LC white with Black fore one step. Or try LC black or LC white with menzerna super finish polish.

I literally just did this on my Golf R a few weeks ago and had no issues. However, I used a very small 1" DA polisher. 2 step correction, orange pad with Meguiars M205 and then a red pad with Menzerna 3800. End result looked better than new.

No fear, easy fix, use DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish, and a MF towel by hand or a red Jeweling pad .

I think you should just stick with what you know don’t make detailing complicated trying to keep up with us pros have fun with it

easy fix, the haze you are seeing is because the plastic is super soft and to aggressive of pad and polish. Its leaving marring behind. You will want to get a quality pad like a Lake country black or red pad or DIY red jeweling pad. Then use a very fine finishing polish like Sonax perfect finish or.a quality brand finishing polish. I would also do it by hand as well.

I used TW over the weekend on real dirty browning tires, had to scrub each tire a few times to get them real black and clean. My only complaint was the smell, my recommendation is to wear a mask. I would like to see you put TW up against Armour tire cleaner. How bad is the smell with Armour ?

You must contact wash when using an Tar remover. The solvents are not water soluble and will not rinse off even with a pressure washer. You can see on the paint it beading up like crazy thats the product. It has to be removed with a contact wash or you will not be able to wash it off with just rinsing with water.

I love beadmaker. For me, dust is inevitable and was never an issue to begin with. I get the same dust with any other protection. I love the gloss and slickess from it so, it’s still a win for beadmaker.

When wheels are really hammered, I’ll use ADS Decon soap in my bucket and that works really really well too!!!

Austin, you know I use P&S and have had good luck with it (I know you're not a fan). I try to always use a dedicated wheel cleaner, and P&S is pretty inexpensive so it works out. I also don't clean all of our cars religiously, and it's mostly the MX-5 that I fastidious about keeping clean (roughly a full wash/detail for every time I drive it) so it never gets that dirty. I have used car wash soap on occasion, usually when I'm really in a hurry, but I don't like doing that and even at those times I've just sprayed on the wheel cleaner and let it sit before going in with the car wash soap during the normal wash, just to help break down some of the brake dust and dirt.

Like to see you put this product up against Turtle Wax 53734 Hybrid Solutions Hyper Foam Wheel and Tire Cleaner.. I think that would be a good shootout it won hands down against Adams Tire & Wheel Cleaner you did for cleaning the tires. The plus for Turtle Wax it also does the wheels. Does it do as good a job for wheels as Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner, if so, it may be the better all around/maintenance for tires and wheels, where as Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner may be best when you need to do a deep clean of wheels. Perhaps another good shootout would be Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner vs Armor Wheel Cleaner.. Also another product brand Superior has a really good tire cleaner White Wall 1000. It's always good when a single product can do both things well from a $ standpoint. Watched a few of your video's last night, like the shootouts and how you test, subscribed.

mate your an absolute tool. you're rubbing dirt into your paint. I dont care if it gets it off. you understand your putting pressure on that dirt as your wiping it off, creating scratches? as a detailer this really f's me off

Medium stiffness brush on the tire really helps agitate the dirt up - I noticed using a ultra soft wheel brush doesn't clean well enough on dirty tires. :) I subcribed to you.

I've used Adam's waterless wash for a while now and really like it. I also bought a bottle of rinseless wash a couple of months back (P&S Absolute), but haven't gotten around to trying it out yet. Maybe I'll give it a shot tomorrow on the MX-5 rather than pulling out the whole hose and bucket, especially with the temperatures we've been having.
