What's the method for dealing with cut and boulder smash, and flash for getting around the map? You need to constantly swap back to stored pokemon to access these areas since there's no room to teach these to your core team of 6?
Good point but this is for battling and leveling up this is for beating elite 4 aswell
you can also catch 4 linoones to occupy the rest of your party and they will pick-up items while you're doing this, you can hopefully get some rare candies that way without much added effort.
No, the best teammates for Typhlosion are five lawyers! It needs them quick!
Can we get Larvitar here?
@@joshpinho no, the only encounter here is smeargle
My FAVORITE(not the best but fun)team Charizard Pichachu Kabutops Snorlax Aerodactyl Scyther
Great team! I also too would honestly pick Luxray over Jolteon because of his great def & sp def. And would go with Gallade over gyarados because of his speed and Attack being slightly better & his moves as well 😅
Cough cough
caught the fukn id1ot
Wow ur team goes hard thank u
This is great!
Pretty sure this doesn't work on Emerald. Fighting the TV crew or the Elite 4 is better exp/hr anyways though not passive.
Yikes bro why you ok with him????
What’s a good move set for Dragonair/Dragonite?
Rrr
My team is Venusaur Mr. Mime Raichu Snorlax Laura's Deagnite
@@benetherington2587 Mr.Mime is such an underrated pick. I feel like the only reason it isn’t used more is because he’s hard to look at. Sweet team
@OaksLab848 true but I prefer mr. Mime if I was to get and alakazam I would a cheat code and catch the psychic gym leaders
This did NOT age well💀
This is my literal team for pokemon gold that’s wild
Thanks for the explanation! Was wondering, how do I check a Pokemon's IVs and EVs? Are there some tools to check, or can I tell by their Summary stats? I mainly play gen 3 pokemon games
@@eliapinzari unfortunately it’s really hard to tell in gen 3. The best in game check is a man who will judge your IVs at the Battle Frontier. Even then, it is tricky to evaluate IVs with this npc. The summary stats are your best option but make sure to check at benchmarks like lv50 lv100
@@OaksLab848 I'll go to the guy then, thanks!! And how about gen 4 onwards, do those games simply tell you? I simply played Platinum a few years ago and don't remember
OMG I THOUGHT CRONAT HAS MOUTH BUT ITS MUSTACHE
For Leafgreen: Venusaur - Razor Leaf, Solar Beam, Sleep Powder, Gigadrain/Leech Seed Starmie - Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt/Recover, Icebeam Dodrio - Tri Attack, Drill Peck, Fly, Steel Wing Snorlax - Body Slam, Brickbreak, Shadowball, EQ/Sleep - Use pokeflute to wake him up everytime you sleep Jolteon - Thunder, Rainy Day/Agility, Bite, Thunderbolt Nidoking - EQ, Rock Slide, Mega Horn, Any other stab
Wish I still had my emerald, but I was a stupid kid and didn’t really care about stuff once I finished with it. Lol
Swampert Breloom Aggron Manectric Rayquaza Gardevoir
Frealigator Crobat Amparhos Magcrato Victerebel Machamp
Blastiose Pidegot Victreebel Flareon Nidoking Machamp
Thanks for the clear and concise explanation!
I'm going to play with a similar line up on renegade platinum with some of these Pokemon mentioned in this video. Also, as the old saying goes: spices are the variety of life. This means it's interesting to try different things. I believe this saying can be applied to the Pokemon games as well. At least the main games anyways. Anyways, how have you been doing as a youtuber here recently. I don't make videos. But I do follow my favorite youtubers such as you as frequently as I can when I am not busy.
@@johnscott5226 hello! Yes, I agree that a large variety makes things much more interesting. I’ve been doing well but haven’t been able to upload as much as I used to. I’m still trying to finish up my “best team” series with all the starters
I wanna switch lapras for gyarados and raichu for jolteon can you suggest moveset for these two?
For Gyarados try Dragon Dance Return/Body Slam Earthquake Surf Jolteon Thunderbolt Thunder Wave Attract (make sure it's female) Shadow Ball
@@QuietRiot3991 i agree with this. Bite and thunder wave are also good options for Jolteon. I’d use bite over shadow ball since bite is special and shadow ball is physical in fire red and leaf green
Excelente nomas ocupaba ver dónde estaba. Gracias y nuevo sub🎉
I like how you didn’t mention anything at all about the sandstorm preventing me from going there smh.
Such an underrated channel, you earned yourself a sub !♥
Where is togepi?
@@TanmayKatake-o3e Togepi is actually pretty well liked
Is there any alternative for mr mime and alakazam? I js want a easy to get pokemon
Mr mime is very easy you just catch abra(might take some time but with sleep powder+great balls it should be easy) and then after getting cut you trade it for a bit slower and less hard hitting but a bit bulkier mon with more move variety And other options are ..well Jynx- very good option but you need poliwhirl to trade for it which requires good or super rod Hypno- it's just ok but heavily outclassed by anything else Slowpoke- FR exclusive but get's job done with that nice bulk Starmie- LG exclusive and best alternative to zam mime and jynx(but iirc it comes at seafoam island
@@albanskigangster do you know any good moveset for my nidoking?
@@Xenn_28 EQ is must have and use dig beforehand For next 3 moves use whatever suits you best like rock slide always comes in handy and also ice beam can be usefull and t-bolt and brick break and also megahorn Overall ms that will give a lot of coverage will be EQ/ice beam/t-bolt/brick break or rock slide But if you have adamant jolly impish or carefull nature just go with EQ/rock slide/brick break/megahorn or strenght for uttility
body slam, snore, rest, and toxic on snorlax and it can solo anything
Yo Man U need to read audio books or something cause ur voice is so easy to fall asleep to
@@mr.justus1312 oof 💀
I think what that dude is saying is that your voice is relaxing
I just started playing LeafGreen with Venusaur and before I watched this I had already caught Nidoking (was gonna be Nidoqueen until I saw that 1% Nidoran male) and Alakazam (was gonna be Gengar til I remembered I already had two poison types). I had Fearow but replaced him with Doduo since he gets Tri attack. I had my heart set on a different water type but after some digging it turns out Lapras is the only one who learns Ice Beam by level up and it's a gift and I don't want to waste too much time going through all the trouble, so Lapras it is! I'm still unsure about my 6th member but Snorlax is a very great option. Though I'd rather not completely copy this list. I'll consider using my fossil Kabutops but I also need to make sure Kabutops works well with the team.
@@QuietRiot3991 Kabutops is tricky because it’s limited by the moves it can learn but it’s a really fun Pokémon
if I have gardevoir and magneton, who do I teach thunderbolt? and what's the alternative?
@@RamosGab you can get a second copy of thunderbolt from the gamecorner. Or teach Gardevoir shock wave instead
Why i cant battle with then?😢
@@azhariaris9650 you probably need to change to one of their other locations
Perfect. i just switched manetric with Torkoal because i wanted fire in my team. Unfortunately, there is no good fire type in this game but blaziken
I usually get my Dratini at the Goldenrod casino, before fighting the devil incarnate
Thank you so much for this non-clickbaity, strait forward and informativ video🙏. Especially non-clickbait vids on pokemon are a rare blessing these days. Edit: How does the team xp system in the new gens. effect the ev gain?
@@narutokun5025 the whole team earns EVs with modern exp share. If a party member is holding a ev boosting item, it gets the bonuses even when not in battle
i use mach punch only, but i put a little extra effort to get an early black belt.
Thanks 👍
Hey guys. My steelix has adamant nature but Im planning to max out his hp and sp def stat in ev training to make up for its poor sp def. What do you think?
@@fawwaz7419 that sounds like a good idea for a more defensive build. I’d compare to smogon sample sets for a better idea of what is viable
My team is usually Typhlosion Jolteon Nidoking Pinsir Honchkrow Lapras
no protect combos on swamp, bre or crobat? all of them can basically wall the game into oblivion.
😮
What a great team! I'm currently grinding for magnetite, can you tell me how many did you capture? Also, did you manage to get a good nature or did you settle as soon as you found one with hp ice? I'm guessing I should avoid lowering sp.atk but otherwise go with anything else. Many thanks for the response!
@@matta5463 it probably took me 15-20 Magnemite. I agree, I’d settle for anything that isn’t -SpA. I think mine was neutral natured when I played through with this team
Which natures do you recommend for those pokemons?
I started playing Heartgold in June of this year. My team is Typlosion, Nidoqueen, Victreebell, Pidgeot, Kingler and Jolteon. Pidgeot and Jolteon are the only two Pokemon I bred early in the game to have specific moves that will help get me through until my preferred moves were learned
Is whitny's milktank tough???....i just played heart gold for 1 st time and my heracross did 2 hit KO😂😂❤❤
@@naitik.666-k2e rollout can get powerful if you don’t KO quickly
