How Pepsi Cola Beat the Odds Over and Over
Over the last 125 years, Pepsi-Cola has faced a number of challenges from competitors, numerous legal battles, went bankrupt on multiple occasions, and yet somehow they are with us today, stronger than ever. And PepsiCo has a bigger presence than many realize.
But what was the secret sauce that enabled Pepsi to survive such a long and turbulent history? As it turns out, it was rifts on the world scene, some genius marketing decisions, some hard learned lessons, as well as dumb luck, that led to them to be where they’re at today. But mostly it was trying lots of different things, until something finally worked.

And now WD-40 is used in upwards of 180 countries & the cans are produced in many different languages. So what makes WD-40 so commonplace...

Tucker Auto: Why Man, Car, & Innovation were Defeated
Просмотров 50 тыс.5 лет назад
What if we told you that the first automobile company to pioneer breakthroughs like seat belts and safety glass wasn’t Volvo, Toyota, Mercedes or Ford, but a company you’ve probably never heard of? The year is 1946, and since none of the Big Three Automakers have released a new model car since 1941, there was a strong desire from the motoring public for something fresh. This created a perfect s...

Melon and lemon were my favorites, apple and banana werent that good imo
Keep up on your maintenance on your old bikes. We will never have anything like them again.
America is as good the government let's us.
❤Love them! I even seen them place Engine Covers on their planes while looking out the window at the gate.
If not ruined by RED TAPE WE ALL WOULD BE DRIVING A TUCKER TODAY. THE DESIGN WAS WEDGE SHAPE WOULD GO TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT AND NEVER HEAD ON. THE CYCLOPS LIGHT WOULD FOLLOW THE CAR AROUND BENDS. 28, MILES TO A GALLON. INNOVATIVE----TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
Lucky to say i have three IN-N-OUTS withing 15 minuts!!!
IN-N-OUT is proof big companies and corporations can pay there employees very well with exceptional training and be successful in one of the top two most expensive states! So there is absolutely no excuse for companies to be so cheap with pay...😮
They are great until the archaic computer systems fail.
It is also my favorite store. Great customer service and better ingredients.
You don't have to be smart and everything to be smart in something spectacular like Tucker was you hire people who do the job for you that are a little smarter in that area I wish to God Tucker had survived he really was magnificent
Goes to show you how money talks even Tucker had a bunch of money he had a way of doing it and he still got screwed I came up with an invention 15 years too late the gentleman that went ahead and came up with it and had a prototype with shutdown by the government this is something that will save policeman's lives ambulance drivers and it was shutdown still not in use today wish to God I knew the guy who invented it as far as I can see he's another Tucker great invention stopped by the government or the money of The Big Three car people
I discovered In-N-Out just over a year ago, and its been my favorite ever since. My personal go-to order is the cheeseburger with raw onion, as a combo with the chocolate shake. I'll follow your recommendation with the 'french fry light' tweak. Since In-N-Out is so good, I have to wonder why McDonald's still exists.
I gotta give pressure from the big three a no sale , There were nine major auto companies post war and materials were hard to get, the steering wheel in a Tucker were left over Lincoln parts Chrysler was still hung over from its advanced car of the future ( The Air flow) Ford was undergoing massive restructuring after Henry died, and GM could have easily just backed a dump truck full of cash and bought him out , The SEC did seem to have a personal beef with him, often left untold is the prosecutor later went to jail, and by 1950 the suspension and transmission design were not yet final and Tuckers had major over heating issues
Trader Joe's is my fav supermarket in the world. 100%.
I know why I keep going back, because I work there
I have worked there for five years they do cate about their employees.
Great concept, simple menu, fun atmosphere.
Only 70 years later and the big 3 are in the toilet, one is totalled. The churned out the same old crap for years. Ford is the only one left in Australia and it is only just hanging on.
In and out is the only fast food chain that still American own and family owned no corporate or should I say government influence
The only reason your anti in and out fan is if you have an anti-American agenda no joke how can you hate in and out?? Why because they're the only American company that's not corporate and still family owned
Not maybe it is the best and not only that it's Republican anti-liberal so eat there everybody when you
$19 per hour for fast food starting with benefits +retirement, and you can move up and make over 6 figures as a manager and much more if you go to corporate..it's a viable career path and not a dead end for a kid out of high school...so you get rhe cream of the crop for employees who value being there
In n out and chick fil a do it right...this is what fast food should be
Awesome Video...thanks for sharing and keep it up :)
Glad the history of this product is out there. The man that got to play around with it, made it and tweaked it, should get he's credit due where he should.
Electric bike is to woke and not very well planned out with shortage of electricity the grid can't even handle normal usage. The Sound of a Harley Davidson is THE HEART OF THE MOTORCYCLE take that away and it's over. GO WOKE GO BROKE FOOLS!!!
The best Harley's are the Aermacchi Line 1973-74 ss 350 is the best of them all
I could eat in n out forever! You just can never get enough.
You forgot the most important aspect of Harleys survival it base the rider we stuck with Harley through everything . we don't have a inline motor cause when Davidson bought the company they were going to change the motor then found out they would lose their base the rider..we are loyal what other company has their logo on so many arm.
IN-N-OUT HAS MY LOYALTY GLORY TO IN-N-OUT, GLORY TO THE YELLOW ARROW
I noticed the napkins one day myself
No English CC, so can add one.
I want to visit one on the way to work tomorrow! (And possibly leave my job for them)
Regardless if you buy Pepsi soda or not You are probably buying Pepsi products without u even knowing... For example they own frito lay Gatorade and so many other brands ..go Pepsi
Can you make a video talking about if southwest will ever fly to Europe?
Australia has 13 classic flavours in circulation and that doesn't include the Chocolatory flavours.
This is a joke right? In n out is only famous because it’s in California where Hollywood land promotes it in all of its movies… Everyone from out of town who comes here in hopes of experiencing that pop culture magic Is severely disappointed. The most basic tasting/ underwhelming burger ever. McDonalds has consistently better tasting burgers than this garbage. No wonder it’s so cheap, even though everything else is overpriced in California. They’d never survive if they drove up prices. The way 5 guys can sell overpriced burgers and still thrive… In n out = trash quality
Today is only my second day working at Trader Joe’s and I feel like I’m in coworker haven. My coworkers and managers are very supportive and friendly. I’ve been working in customer service for over 25 years and I never knew that this kind of environment existed, at least at my store. Traders Joe’s, where have you been all my life. 😍
Hershey's has nothing to do with chocolate - terrible stuff....
Good video but. June of 81 actually June 16 1981 was the buy back date. And they didn't shy away from the Japanese they came out with fxr arguably the best handing harley ever made. 82 is when that hit the market aimed right at the foreign bikes. Then the bomb dropped the evolution motor "oil tight". To this day probably the best motor harley ever produced. Don't forget " the eagle soars alone". Also Arnold roade a black fat boy. Not silver.
The places are always clean, the menu simple and food good. Service is friendly and reasonably fast. Personally I just like the regular burger, no cheese or onions. All the right flavors are there, and it's really good. A protein style double double is also good in the mix of textures, flavors and temperatures, but they have to be eaten fast as they just fall apart. I didn't expect much the first time I tried the place, but was really surprised, and would always stop at the same place on I 5 on my way into socal. Now they've moved near home and are a treat to have once in a while. Is it the best? For what it is it's fine. You know what to expect every time you go to one anywhere.
Just saw your video for the first time. I actually work with the company and most things are pretty accurate, although the funny part is the "cheap" vs "luxurious" napkins are flipped. The ones we give behind the counter and on the trays/in the bags with food are almost 10x as expensive as the dining area napkins
Tucker was a genius way ahead of it’s time! That’s what the big three and the government didn’t like! I bet you if the tucker car company was being built today if would be like Tesla! A car way ahead than his competitors! I would buy one in heartbeat 💗
I love Nestle's quick but I hate the company. In Ohio here where I live there was a company called Stouffer's frozen foods, they're frozen foods were better than most restaurants. When the man who started the company Vernon Stouffer sold it to Nestle's the food quality was no longer a number one priority and the food suffered. Stouffer's French bread pizzas used to be delicious now they are garbage. Stouffer's used to make a lobster Newburg that was as good as any I had in the restaurant, they no longer make it. It's awful how once a big corporation gets their hands on something they ruin it. Cutting back on quality to save a few dollars and increase their profits at our expense. Apparently this is the reason they don't make more flavors here it would cost them more money.
I don't drink Pepsi, the only Coke I drink is Cherry Coke and Royal Crown Cola is very tasty and only .99 cents for a 2 liter bottle they'll have my business every time.
A few years ago they had a Tucker gathering at Pebble Beach. While on the Tour D'Elegance, one of them dropped an axle (do a GOOGLE search for the pics of the axle on the road). I stopped to help in my lowly (but fully drivable) '55 Pontiac, and the owner (I believe the pres. of the club) was rude as could be. I took great joy in leaving them in a cloud of non-emissions controlled exhaust. That experience aside, I think Tuckers are one of the most over rated cars. If they'd been made in larger numbers, no one would pay any more attention to them then any other production American car of the time.
"Even govt officials...!" Why are you surprised the most corrupt people in the world(polticians) would do such a thing,....
I ate an absurd amount of mini kitkats and now I will kill myself
I have been in In-N-Out Burger associate for a little over 5 years. But to be quite honest, when I want something that's not available at In-N-Out Burger I really enjoy Whataburger here in Texas.
omfg theres miso soup flavor
