Pre-paid cards for electricity are usually a big no no from experience. These people tend to make you foot the previous tenants bill or theirs. Careful with those even when going through an Agency, they'll try to find a way to make you pay for it. Had so many times my friends or even i, we've topped up our card for about £100 and it's gone in less than a month even with us being out most of the time. Took us a while to fight and win our money back.

Love the vlogs. I recommend visiting the algarve in portugal. Famous coastline with breathtaking beaches, rocky coves, beautiful small towns with little churches and cobblestone streets and lots of fresh local sea food. Luckily parts of my family are still living there and I can visit once a year during the summer 😊❤

Cool video! I made the move from Australia to the UK last year also. It didn’t work out for as I didn’t plan for it well enough. So I’m now back in Australia. Made me laugh when you spoke about the electricity keys. I was a lodger in this woman's flat for about 2 months who kept forgetting to put money on the key. Almost every other day, the money would run out and I would be sitting in the dark with no internet - I moved into my own 1 bed flat after that had a regular meter thankfully. Now I am no longer renting thank god.

How much did you save before you moved?

People don’t put the time into buildings because most aren’t art, there’s material costs and a timeline that people like to stick to now. But I agree the older buildings have so much character.

i have always loved London. i left in my 20s to back pack OZ and now in my 30s im moving back to OZ with PR. I am just priced out of locations such as london and cambridge but i do enjoy the location and proximity to the rest of Europe.
