    The easy answer, and the answer all Trump supporters will believe for the first 4 years of his lifetime presidency, is that it is all Democrats' fault. This will be his go-to forever. Remember, Donald Trump is perfect and therefore he has never had to say, "I was wrong." He never has about anything.

    I’m on an affordable renting apartment. But i know my apart will do the best he can about what I’m afraid might happen. I have a few other concerns but mainly affordable renting apartment. We do need more affordable housing. Thank you for mentioning the zoning laws. Most forget about that part. Stay safe. And thank you for having a calm voice.

      You’re absolutely right-affordable housing is such an important issue, and zoning laws often get overlooked even though they play a huge role in limiting the supply of affordable rentals. It’s great to hear that your landlord is proactive, but it’s still frustrating when broader policies don’t seem to address the core problem. Hopefully, we’ll see more focus on solutions like higher-density housing that could make a real difference. Stay safe, and thanks for being part of the conversation! 😊

  • @jeanetteivy5229

    Rent is due on the 5th each month. After its paid, there's $17 left. This new pay schedule will make rent past due every month

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor Час назад

      That’s such a tough situation, and I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. The staggered payment schedule can cause serious issues when bills like rent are due early in the month. One idea might be to talk to your landlord or property manager to see if they’d allow a grace period or adjust the due date-some are willing to work with tenants in situations like this. Local rental assistance programs might also be worth looking into for support. You’re doing your best, and it’s frustrating when the system doesn’t seem to help. Stay strong!

    There's no way to save money when you're on social security believe me

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor Час назад

      That’s totally understandable-Social Security benefits can make it tough to save, especially with rising costs for housing, food, and healthcare. It’s all about balancing essentials, and there’s not always much left over. Even small steps, like finding savings on bills or using programs that help with utilities or groceries, can make a difference over time. If it feels overwhelming, local nonprofits or financial assistance programs might have tips or resources to help stretch your budget a little further. Stay safe and hang in there!

You’re not alone in feeling this way, and it’s important to speak up about these challenges. Sometimes local programs or nonprofits can offer help with essentials like food, rent, or utilities-don’t hesitate to reach out to see what’s available in your area. You deserve better support!

    "Social Security began for citizens that paid into the program during their productive years." Now it has evolved into "a safety net for All". Social Security WAS NOT STARTED as a Welfare Program. Military Retirements are Another THEFT PROGRAM associated with Social Security. Military Personnel pay into the fund, but are Swindled out of it when they reach Social Security retirement age by the reduction of benefits. Lastly, Social Security was not designed as the "catch-all" program that it has become. People receiving Social Security benefits that Never Contributed to the program is one major cause of the pending peril of collapse. This posting is only a snippet of the true problem(s)!!!

    The more I watch these videos the more it is starting to make sense to me. This is just my opinion - I think a stimulus is coming, but not after January first. Why? Because when the new congress takes office the Republicans might try to stop it. If the stimulus is going to happen I think a good time for it would be between Christmas and New Years. Maybe. We'll see what happens.

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor 13 часов назад

      You bring up an interesting idea, but based on the current situation, a stimulus before the new Congress takes office seems unlikely. Right now, there’s no official confirmation, and the economy hasn’t hit the kind of recessionary markers-like high unemployment-that typically trigger stimulus checks. While the holidays might seem like a good time, the government hasn’t shown signs of moving in that direction. It’s always possible, but for now, my guess is that it is probably more speculation than reality.

    I am on SSDI and have a mental disability. I cannot work or my benefits will be taken away. My question is, am I aloud to do the stock market? Will that take away my benefits?

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor День назад

      Good question! Generally, being on SSDI doesn’t mean you can’t invest in the stock market since SSDI is based on your work history and disability status, not financial resources. Income from stocks, like dividends or capital gains, usually doesn’t affect your SSDI benefits. However, if you’re receiving SSI in addition to SSDI, things get trickier since SSI has strict income and asset limits. It’s best to consult with a financial advisor or contact the SSA directly to make sure stock market activity won’t impact your specific benefits situation.

    • @evelyntaylor4470
      @evelyntaylor4470 21 час назад

      He didn't say he was receiving SSI. He receives SSDI. Some only receive one payment. You don't always receive both SSI and SSDI. You should contact SSA, possibly record the information or have a representative, and legal assistance!

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor 21 час назад

      @@evelyntaylor4470 You’re absolutely right-if someone is only receiving SSDI, income or assets like investments typically don’t impact benefits. SSI is where strict financial limits apply, so it’s important to clarify the type of benefits being received. Contacting the SSA directly is the best way to get accurate info for individual situations, and keeping a record of the conversation is always a smart move. Thanks for pointing that out!

    • @moneyinstructor
      @moneyinstructor 21 час назад

      @@e.1766 Great question! The $2,000 asset limit applies specifically to SSI (Supplemental Security Income), which is needs-based and has strict financial rules. Having over $2,000 in countable assets can impact SSI eligibility. However, SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) is based on your work history and disability status, so there’s generally no asset limit for SSDI, and your benefits wouldn’t be reduced because of savings or investments. That said, earnings from work could affect SSDI if they exceed the limit. To avoid confusion, it’s always a good idea to contact the SSA directly for personalized guidance on how these rules apply to your specific benefits.

While everyone else in government gets raises and steals our SSA and never is criminallt charged for stealing. Sad no help at all when everyone goes up as soon as they hear the seniors got a raise yes car insurance goes up and takes takes bite, grocery taxes take a bite and everone else takes a bite the seniors see none of it. Do Something Real.
