When I searched for this, it was obvious that the HDMI to display port won't work cause it needs to be from the gpu. My laptop doesn't have a display port at all via anything. So even if I have USB C, it won't be of any use. People need to check that their USB C needs to support the display port.

AMAZING! Thank you so much. I'm curious to the reason Sony neglected the reasonably sized market of VR capable Laptops missing DisplayPort. Mine can run PCVR games at medium settings with no issues with a 3060 and 32 gigs memory.

I like your review and it’s very different from others I’ve seen. I purchased the 80 watt head in July of 2024 and played it through a Marshall 4x12 with vintage 30’s and I will admit it needed quite a bit of eq to get the tone I wanted. I ordered the EVH 5150iii speaker cab and what a difference it made, didn’t rely on my eq pedal much like before and, well, I am very happy how that pairing turned out to be. It definitely is ICONIC.

Well the shape is awesome! But you could Always install new pickups like the Seymour duncan trash or sh-4 JB for the bridge or even EMGs . the shape is anyways amazing

Hi, waiting for my DP -- HDMI cable as i was also unaware and just realized that this has to be DP -- DP cable.🤐 I will be using Unitek DisplayPort 1.4 - HDMI 2.1 8K/60Hz 4K/120Hz 1.8m cable. I also will try it on gaming laptop so i will let you guys know if it worked for me. Fingers crossed!

i want to check if a Usb Type C Female To Display Port would work on a pc without the Playstation adapter but, i also dont have the recourses to do it.

1:43 unfortunately it is true. I have spent five days on this issue. I have an MSI GT75 Titan 8RG. Since it said, VR ready I thought I can simply plug in the PSVR2 to the USB-C port in the back but nope, so I bought the PSVR2 adapter for 60 bucks, then it needed to display port cable “NOT INCLUDED”, so I purchased a 1.4 DP to HDMI and that didn’t work, now I found that the VR ready statement it means I do have a display port in the back of the laptop, but it’s a mini one so I have to get a 1.4 DP to mini DP cable….. this has been exhausting. I’m getting the cable tomorrow from Amazon. If that doesn’t work I’m gonna say fuck it and return everything because this is ridiculous.

Awesome game. I loved it.

I just completed Half-Life Alyx on my PSVR2 with the PC adapter and I thought RE4 Remake had much better action. Although I agree with the puzzles in Half Life. The puzzles were done really well in Half-Life Alyx. But only 4 guns? RE4 Remake is still peak VR gameplay to me. I know it’s not as interactive, but the gameplay can’t be beat. Really same goes for RE8 as well. Metro is right up there with Half-Life Alyx for me though and I still have yet to finish it. Think I’m on chapter 6 and the game keeps getting better and better! Still I think VR game of the year will be Behemoth though!

I’m loving it as well! Very solid gameplay. Playing in hardcore is the way to go! Makes the game much more of a challenge!

You could have done the 4 cable method with the ns2 and that should work for the effects loop and front.

Youre right about amps hissing it depends on how well the electrical is grounded where you are ,mine does the same thing at the bar we played at it was great no noise at home in my basememt alittle noise but it has something to do with the grounding side of electrical, I love mine and yeah its loud for 40watts I have a katana 50watt combo and the 5150 beats it one 3 its crazy loud ,ive played guitar since I was 14 im 59 now so many yrs I wish when I younger they had the 5150 with my wolfgang standard its van halen all they way for sure,cool information video, take care and stay safe

That NS-2 should be all you need. It is designed to be used in both locations at the same time. Guitar signal into the NS-2 Input. NS-2 Output goes to amps input. The amps effects loop send goes to the NS-2 Return and the NS-2 Send goes to the amp effects loop return. Give it a try. Have 2 Charvel's myself. Great playing guitars!

One Solo that I will not spend time learning is the "Paradise city' solo. I only play the first part note for note. The second is just to improvise. Too many notes to learn 😅

If it's not too complicated I will learn it, not every solo is suitable to improvise. Next solo up for me is the Pantera "Walk" that seems manageable.

I learn the signature parts and that leaves me a little space of self expression. But a solo like in Beat It needs to be note for note. Something like the solo in say Smoke on the Water could be note for note at the beginning amd at the ending of it. Jam the solo in between the book ends

Just got this amp used from a guy that bought it new a month ago and life happened and he needed to sell, he had the matching 4/12 el34 cab to go with and almost half what he paid so I had to get it. I think i will look for the matching 2/12 cab as I'm a bedroom player. I do like using my ZW od pedal with this amp and will do the 137 mod on it

All the 2pt DK 24 are killer 🎸....im actually wanting to get yours and rhe white hss . Ive had one before wish i kept it lol . If you put 9s back on set it up 1/2 step down thats how the guitar was designed for i alslo learned the hard way lol... 10s should still be great for riffs just soloing gets a bit wierd .
