The editing is amazing, HOWEVER. I found myself being pulled towards the edits and effects than hearing your points. And as a result I honestly didn’t know what you were talking about 😢 I’m a nobody editor but I would say that your “Less is More” video is the better of the two. Simply at the fact that I was so into the message of the video BECAUSE of the insane edits you pulled off. In fact, after watching that video I went on a 30 minute rant to my Girlfriend (who knows nothing about visual storytelling and editing) about how your video is PERFECT, because less noise made your edit fit more. Going on every edit so she understands why she was wired into the video herself lol it was awesome. I think this video is the antithesis to that. it’s an amazing visual edit but FOR ME, it was too much noise that took my focus. And I’m sure your intention was for me/us to focus on the points in your story. All love. I still aspire to edit like you. Just thought I’d give my own perspective experiencing your video.

what happen if during filming, we record the sound of the environment with a great microphone? It might be less custom and probably -20% efficient, but would save so much time like legit 20% of the entire video editing duration (and then add the fx like swoosh during editing)?

hey man love your videos, when mixing audio there's plugins like "trackspacer" where you can sidechain your spoken vox to the background music to automatically clear space in the EQ spectrum for your voice in the background music without it sounding like "ducking". this channel's gonna be big.

Songwriting, poetry, drawing? No. Creative expression. Am I getting the idea? And then it seems you mix and match your different simples (aka rhythm and visual storytelling) to make amazing stuff that only you can make (aka this video). So for me, that might be question-asking until a song/poem/art piece spills out. (But it can take infinite forms as we morph and explore.) Is that the idea? If I'm missing something I'd love to know.
