@@Thiccron The main issue I have is the turret ring fix that has been acknowledged but not implemented yet (other bug reports but turret ring is the biggest issue imo). It would make the turret ring volumetric and be around 230 mm of RHA. I got all nations to top tier and your right, the Abrams is still an amazing tank compared to most minor nation tanks. All the new players buying clickbaits and AIMs have no idea how to play the game relegating you to do a 1 vs enemy team 99% of the time.

for me USA is at least better than UK Israel Italy and maybe China? I don't find China MBT is that much stronger than Abrams tbh, all the MBT got high LFP compare to russian one so it's easy to shot there. The turret got much more weakspot compare to T80, and the 7.1s reload kinda hurt at toptier. Other than that i agree with your ranking

I know its pain. the M1A2 Sep should be firing M829A3 and the Sep V2 should be firing M829A4 but all abrams are stuck with the 1992 M829A2 round... and the sep V1 and 2 have the armor profile the M1A1 HA/M1A2 should have. while lacking their DU armor inserts in the hull and turret sides. im so tired of people parroting Gaijins LIES and gas lighting of saying that the Seps dont have hull DU. they do. only Pre Sep tanks didnt have DU in hulls and turret sides. US doesnt have good High tier SPAA like Nasaam 3. it doesnt have SEAD missiles like Sidearms, Harms, ARGMS. It doesnt get FAF ATGMS on helos like AGM-114L or AGM-179 Jagm. we dont have SLAMS or SLAMERS we dont have the correct speeds, fuzes or warheads for APKWS. we are missing the Heat APKWS ARG-20C and the Proxi fuze AGR 20A PF the Mavricks pen is horribly wrong. AGM 65s have 2100mm pen not 830mm thats BS. even the Blast frag Mavricks are suppose to have 860mm the Tow2B has the wrong pen of 100mm instead of the 380mm its suppose to have. Where is M10 Booker? why is HSTVL not 10.3 where it belongs? where is F18, where is A6E SWIP, or UH1Y, why doesnt the AH1F have Countermeasures and why is it 9.7 instead of 9.0 where it belongs without cms or A2A missiles. Where are the Strykers, M6 LInebackers, or Mshorads? Why dont the M60A3 and M1 have M833 ammo? why was the M735 nerfed and then they admit that the nerf was an error and the original 353mm was correct, then never fix it and leave it at 282mm pen. Where TF is buddy lazing? the list goes on and on and on and on.

The russian tanks are worse than the abrams yet have a higher K/d and Wr it's literally just because american players suck, I have a 2.5 k/d on my abrams on average but a 30% win rate because my team is full of actual troglodytes, the abrams is the second best MBT series just behind the leo/strv it's held back by the average mutt player not knowing how to play it and assuming "muh abrams best tank in the world"

A good 1/3 of my thousand matches is at 12.7 full top tier with hardly any one death leaving click-baits on sight yet it's still the same shit but worse, team get's crumbled within 5 mintues and Russian CAS spam begins with Kh-38MT's and Ka-52's and enemy pushes to spawncamp.

@@elkrumb9159 steam is around half the playerbase, you can easily check that by comparing players online on top left in main menu and steam players count. There's no other way to verify which nation is played the most, even on my matches I see German and Russian players more than US ones at ground battles. In air right now US is obviously more popular due to AMRAAMS.

Not only that but also they refuse to add the tank they've acknowledged to have the DU armor, the SEP V3. Them adding the V2 with no option remove the useless ERAs and not giving it's shell that was supposed to be good against ERAs and not even the Trophy system to make jt at least unique, while knowing USA top tier is underperforming is the proof of them intentionally gimping USA top tier.

Phoenixes can be easily dodged, I've played hundreds of matches in that BR in last months, all against F-14's and only died once to Fakour, even without RWR the smoke trails are obvious and they all spam their missiles at the start, just need to position yourself to not be obvious target. The Leclerc has worse armor and a worse round, the Abrams is not bad, it’s a great tank

@@elkrumb9159 both are a one shot to any competent player and rounds above 400-500 is more than suffices enough at top tier and having more pen hardly makes much difference since you still have to aim for same weakspots. I was even using the original M1 Abrams at top tier with tier 1 APFSDS round and the difference was hardly noticable.

Not so much, having for example M829A2 over M829 is a massive difference, it means you don’t have to waste time aiming for T-80Us, T-72B3s and T-90As, all of which are common at top tier, and that split second decision making can and will make a difference, it also makes weakspots just bigger in general which is always a good thing

Outside of turret ring fixes and other bug reports that have yet to be implemented but passed - Abrams is much better than most nations tanks. Leclerc? I aced two Leclercs and the Abrams is still better in round, overall survivability and versatility. Leclercs still explode from random fuel tank shots and suffer from the non-buffed UFP. Their round doesn't spall as much as M829A2 nor pen as much.

@@INeatFreak It’s quite simple, it’s a combination of stock HEAT and no premium and me just being bad, and yeah I won’t deny my stats aren’t too great in the SEP, or the base M1A2, i uncooked them 2 years ago and only recently got around to stock grinding them, it also doesn’t help when your team falls apart instantly, This is a skill issue form my part not the tank being a problem And like I said, the SEP v2 is just a worse SEP abrams, And i am positive in the M1A1 HC, like I have stated, im not really that great at ground, I’m a much better pilot than I am a tanker but my lack of skill when it comes to ground doesn’t discern the fact the Abrams is not nearly as bad as people say it is

They already acknowledged bug report on Turret ring being modeled incorrectly, it was supposed to be volumetric and have way more protection. But that was like 9 months or so ago, 3 updates and no change. It's clear that Gaijin wants USA to be the free bait for their Russian lineups.

I think it's so dumb that the whole advantage USA has is advances in technology before other nations but with how the war thunder devs cope with US main hate is by giving literally every other country new age vehicles before the US. Britain has an APS, russian tanks get their realistic armor values, and almost every other nation has MBTs from late 2010's while US' newest ground vehicle is sep v2 from late 2000's. And we still haven't gotten the hull armor the abrams deserves. You basically have to play everything as a light tank.

Nah the adats is great, no smoke trail or rwr warning makes it really good at killing aircraft without knowing they're being shot at

@@ryangravel9340 most SPAA's also have IRST tracker, not being able to track through trees and clouds, having to visually identify and lock planes is a much much bigger disadvantage. It can't lock planes even if there's a slight transparent cloud in the way.

@ryangravel9340 the only way it doesn't trip the rwr is if the radar is turned off, otherwise the irst lock still uses regular radar with it. The adats sucks, I don't need it for close range, I need it for up to 10 miles, you can fire mavericks D's from 10 miles with ease... but how is the adats supposed to counter that, sure if the plane gets close its good at killing them... but when I play CAS at top tier I'm always atleat 8 miles from the map because I can be lol. The US is the only nation that can't deal with long range CAS, people complain that the US doesn't have low tier AA's but that's not nearly as important as a top tier AA. Also, people keep saying that the ADATS is one of the best AA's cause it can kill tanks... I don't care how good it is at killing tanks, if it can't kill planes it's useless, people won't be spawning the ADATS over the abrams... the ADATS is spawned to shoot planes. It could easily be 11.0, it wouldn't be OP against tanks or planes
