If the motor does not run even though powerbank is providing the power - motor is completely dead right? Can i just buy any similar sized 5v motor and replace it?

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

Excellent video - and it worked for me - I don't know why running the motor for 30 seconds cured the problem, but it did!

The best way to clean this vacuum is to use compressed air. Also use compressed air on the filter. It does wonders...

This is only a partial solution. Better buy a new motor. Mine works for 2-3 hours and then gets stuck again. I tried cleaning everything, but the laser is moving smooth

I fixed mine the other day with a 9v battery to jump start the motor, works fine now (also cleaned the spindles etc).

What is the explanation for this fix? Just connect new cables and it start working? I don't get it

I have no doubt that my vacuum would not be running/working soon if I had not removed that panel and cleaned the inside!!! So, thank you so much for the information🙂

Hello! If my motor/laser sensor is already spinning, but still says Error 1, do i still need to jump start the motor?

I have this model of roborock since Oct 2018. I have 2 filter to interchange between washes every month, and added new mopping clothes twice and changed the side brush once. This little helper requires very very Low maintenance. Unfortunately I had just decided to do a big time cleanup and did not place a cloth on the floor to protect the ‘crown’ and scratched it. Thanks for your video on showing how to clean the interior of the vacuum - that is one area I missed out just now. Will be cleaning it next round. Saving this video for my reference next round. Thanks 👍🏼 PS: I will be retrieving the big brush from the bin and try to clean it for later user… actually there are no nicks on the rubber flap on my brush - to think I had not even clean it in 3-4 years!

I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

Thank you so much the solution worked for my roborock S5 error 1. However, before and after error 1, I was and am getting error 8 (remove obstacles). I think there is some problem with right wall sensor as it get stuck very often at right side

I think if you remove the bottom cover, you will lose warranty, isnt it?

Working for me. Just clean the durst around the motor and give a little bost with a old usb cable on computer. And the motor will restore the rotating.

i have a huge issue with the sidebrush , no matter how hard i try to unscrew it it doesn't move ... is it normal that when i unsxrew it counter clockwise the thing spins ? or do i have to maintain one finger on it to prevent it to turn ? cos i feel like i do this and nothing unswrew.... sorry for my poor English ... hope you understood what i meant... and did someone found a good solution to add to hot water in the tank ? thanks a lot

What a strange error. Like how can this fix the problem. I guess the vacuum also feeds the engine the same volts, why should this procedure repair it?
