Brother Printer HL-L2395DW vs HL-L2320D from Staples. In this video I'm deciding which one to keep. The HL-L2395DW was on sale for $99.99 and the HL-L2320D sells for 99.99 regular price. Both seems like pretty decent printers with cheap replacements toner cartriges.

Walmart BlackFriday Deal HP Pavilion Desktop 690-0073w - Overview and SSD & RAM Upgrade
Просмотров 15 тыс.5 лет назад
For Cooling Upgrade watch : ruclips.net/video/KIm0SHtfErw/видео.html This is a video describing the HP Pavilion Desktop 690-0073w that was a deal at Walmart on Black Friday for $579 and got discounted at some stores a few weeks after. I am also upgrading the RAM and Storage and showing the specs for RAM, PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and Power Source.
ok i need help i have this exact one an it won't budge
Im here for the music!
All this work, and not even taking the struggle to spread the thermal paste... i just don't understand some people
Would this work with a AMD cpu if I also dont remove the backplate still
Outstanding clarity in camera work and focus, shows you are thinking about the viewer, outstanding camera angles too. Not to mention, it not a cheap camera and very good lighting. You tightened the CPU cooler down totally one side then the other - instead of EVENLY - that causes the past to spread unevenly too and the CPU to sit unevenly (PROOF when you took off the old cooler the old past was also uneven, was that HP's or your mistake?) The last two fans are MOSTLY blocked air wise BOTH sides, the case cover has tiny holes and the drive bay cover holes are virtually non-existent, even the DVD bay is in the way of airflow so VERY VERY BAD. (Proofs of fannies mistake is you span 2 fans the actual WRONG WAY !! to demonstrate them going in a specific direction OOPS!!) Also the external fan directions adds up to NEGATIVE pressure inside the case causing dust to be pulled into holes. True the original HP cooling was bad.
This didn't work although i had the same problem. I spent all this time wiring up these connectors the same way and the bottom led are still flickering
you have a row of bad leds.. replace them..
@@trainsplanesandotherthings5187 you're 2 months late I already did that.
Tenga su like 👍🏻
Interesting
SIMPLE AN DEASY THANKS FOR MAKING SUPER EASY
1). Always unscrew (unhinge if its from the olden days) cpu coolers evenly / cross wise, hold it to prevent cooler tipping over and possibly hurt components nearby when the spring force is suddenly released! Coolers can easily mangle inductors/capacitors/memory chips! Once screws are undone, gently rotate cooler slightly (only a few degrees) left/right/left/back again to break the grip of old paste. (On new PC's with the clasp it's less important but it helps. Some CPU's in use still have pins and are in a ZIF socket and then this step of breaking up the old paste is VITAL or you might break the socket or cpu or both. 2). Don't fiddle with removing CPU paste or anything when the CPU clasp is open! If you accidentally push down on one side and have sligt side ways force the CPU may slide around in socket or by sticking to cotton bud you might lift a corner out of socket; that would be VERY BAD because under CPU lies 1000's of tiny really weak springs! Mangle just one of them and your motherboard is most probably trashed for good. Normal consumers do not have the instruments to fix socket nor replace it. Once you open the clasp, remove or insert CPU. Once the 1000's of springs are exposed, i.e. un-populated CPU socket it is VERY VITAL that nothing touches it. Normal procedure is to DIRECTLY put in a protective cover delivered with your motherboard and close CPU clasp because acidents happens so easily. (OEM manufactures like DELL or HP probably do not offer this) 3.) When mounting a new cooler do not let it rock back and forth like shown in video; once again you may damage surrounding components AND the paste will be unevenly spread/pushed out to one side. Once the cooler is placed on the bead of paste, hold it flat while engaging ALL screws a few turns so that cooler is at ALL TIMES parallell to CPU heatspreader. Tighten screws cross wise one to two turns per side and repeat untill all screws are seated. 4). If you made the effort to fit the extra intake fan, make it a larger-than-fan-rotor round hole, having the blades wooshing by, intersecting the sharp edge of the square hole adds alot of noise and reduces the flow quite alot, most of the airflow is near the perifiery of a fan, basically only 20% of the outer rim is doing 90% of the job = any interference at edge has massive impact of fan capacity. Personally I'd add a self adhesive foam edge around fan to seal it to PC cover which is floating above the black grille/internal support plate, its leaking some air by the sides and just re-circulating same air. I have been building custom PC's, fan cooled, custom heatsinks, TEC/Peltier cooled, water cooled (made my own water blocks) etc since 1996. I've built/owned near to 20 custom PC's from Pentium 1 until now and going... I'm just about to mod a similar case to this shown in video.
Music or beat name?
Good job
hello guys, i have new victus 15L..i want upgrade cooler but every time when i connect new fan (i have many types noctua 92nn, cooller master 120mm...) system show me error msg SYSTEM FAN 90B and turn my pc OFF...any ideas? thx a lot
so do i have to buy screws to install it?
Does the thicker fan make a big difference in temp? I know that he is quiter because of the slower rotationrate
A thicker fan running the same speed would move more air due to the thicker fan blades having more surface area
@@CG_Element Sure but if you consider rpm then its almost the same
Well done, my TV is no longer flashing. But I damaged the LCD during the repair....lol
LEGIT VIDEO LOVE IT MAN
My edge lit LG 55LM5800 tv backlight turns off after 20 -30 minutes. Theres a green led on the power supply board (LD701) that flashes 4 times after the leds turn off. Any idea what this code means or what the problem might be? I replaced the power supply board but backlight still turns off after 20 minutes or so. There is an image on screen when I shine a flashlight on the screen so Tcon should be fine?
Could anyone tell me what song this is?
Easy fix buy a new TV simple
XLNT
what was used to solder on the connections? Are those wires looped on both sides? My LG 60LF6090 has the same problems so i'm hoping this video instructions helps.
Did you solve the problem?
Thanks Sir!
Cool video ;-) But you missed the opportunity to show us the temp. and loudness differences before and after :-(
@1:57 The LCD connectors weren’t a part of this process. My panel cracked when trying to lift it out. In the trash it goes.
when you said sauder i said why bother
I'm looking to upgrade to 16gig ram what do you recommend I'm super green when it comes to computers
How do i change the speed man
The MB does its job automatically
The music is so lit dude what is it called
The music though 😂 💀
Can someone tell ne where I can get those "Intel set spacers"? Are they part of the Fan?
Mine is doing the same. I bought a new one tempted to mess with my old one.
Nice video but the music makes want to do hard drugs and go to warehouse rave and catch chlamydia
Do it dude. Yolo.
Dude the music was the icing on the cake for this great video.
“Easy”
Nice mods, sadly idiots sitting at HP and DELL are brain dead drones who couldn't do this at the first place. Either they greedy or incompetent.
Just did the same upgrade to my tg01-1417no
92mm and 80mm noctua fans
keeping the original backplate is a great idea. Thx for sharing! I replaced the CPU Fan in a HP Pavilion TG01 (LGA1200) by a Noctua NH-L12S. But I had to use M3 x 20mm screws (10 - 14mm was way to short).
igual para el victus 15 L
can i fit a hyper 212 in it?
Easy my ass
No need for a case fan with the low profile cooler. The two fans wil interfere with each other!
Which one, the exhaust or extra side vent one? Did you test? You’re saying just have the single low profile fan?
@@PinchHarmonic69 The exhaust because it will interfere with the low profile CPU fan. To use your setup you would need to replace the low profile fan with a vertical one with the fan pulling the air in the same direction as the exhaust fan.
Did you mount the fans in opposite directions? Coz the arrows in the fans show otherwise
Did you have to change the backplate on the motherboard?
No, you need to remove the MB for that. I didn't.
@@curiousitech9807 Good to know. It looks like the NH-L9x65 comes with the AM4 kit for Ryzen which looks like it comes with the longer M3 screws. So, I'm not sure if I'd need to buy more....
@@markthibault8579 look at min 8.08. You need to buy them
@@curiousitech9807 Thanks. What was the length of the ones you used? 10 or 14mm?
Can a 120mm low profile CPU cooler fit in this case?
Less than 140mm so that excludes a lot of >150mm radiators
Got my 50" LG working! Thank you for the instructions. My screen would flash once, then go black but the power stayed on. I made an LED back light tester using a 12v power supply, then tested all strips and they were good. After checking the led strip connections, I found the culprit. It was just one of the connections in my case, which I tested by applying side pressure to the connection. When I did that, the lights all came on and would stay on as long as I kept pressure applied. Will get it soldered up now and should be good to go.
Will this method work with ryzen?
Absolutely
@@curiousitech9807 do I have to get the exact cooler or an am4 socket
Only thing wrong here is the title of the video. Nothing is easy here. But thanks anyway
I just did this repair and still is flickering about in intervals of exactly 1 second
I dont want to upgrade the Stock case fan, so i just need to connect the y splitter with the CPU cooler and the intake fan right?
Y splitter with the case fan. They are both case fans.
@@curiousitech9807 hey man i know its a bit old already but hope u can help me, im looking forward to buy this hp pabilioj desktop, mine got a i7 11700, 16gb ram and rtx 3060 ti...pretty sure the i7 will get rrally hot, so u think this a great pc for me? I want this because its soo cheap compared to building one myself with seperate parts since gpu price is still high...is it ok if after buy, i swap the cpu cooler and maybe add more case fan? U think its good and safe for another 4 to 5 years? Or u suggest i wait and built better pc and avoif this hp prebuilt?
Can you use a Noctua NH-U12s
I have 2 questions. What tool did you use to cut the hole in the metal sheet for the intake. And can you do that on a HP Pavilion TG01-0023w?
To cut the metal I think you could something like Dremel, and the mod should work on that model since they’re very similar
The black metal grate on your model is not the same. It has a different thickness, but you should Beale to mount a fan.
