Ramelette on the 360 XL Griddle

Why did I never think of this?!?! All those years in college and I never put together the value of ramen and scrambled eggs? Well, some internet genius did and here are with the griddled Ramelette. This has all the flavors and textures I could ever want in a fast and simple food. I only use half of a packet of seasoning at the most per omelet (or omelette), because no one needs that much sodium...

You're breaking the sear when you lift your press up off the burger - a big no*no for proper smash burgers. Put a piece of square parchment paper down before you bring your press down. You don't want to break the sear on a smash burger, it's a cardinal sin.

Loved your videos on this smoker so I came back to share a few discoveries. There's a big to-do about the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro, because it has drawer for smoking with wood. You can smoke with real charcoal and wood chunks flavor right on the Cuisinart Woodcreek using the charcoal insert while also smoking with the pellets. Sometimes I even use three bricks to hold up the third grate (the one that would have been over the wood and coals) over on the left side instead of using the warming rack. This allows me to put a disposable aluminum pan directly under a large pork shoulder or chicken to catch the drippings or to cook something like beans under the meat. I've found it only takes a couple wood chunks and coals to make the most amazing wood smoke BBQ with the temp controls of a pellet smoker. Then you can crank up the heat and grill and sear over the the wood and coals on the right. There's nothing else as versatile as this unit, despite all the quality control and design issues. Hopefully Cuisinart does not abandon the Woodcreek's versatile design in their future models and they can improve build quality.

    • @chefsbonus7696

No. The surface is cold-rolled steel. The non-stick is created through seasoning and cooking on the surface. It can always be re-seasoned if it gets rusty or scratched.

I have a Cuisinart Wood creek and am very disappointed. After 5 smokes the hot rod appears to have gone. Cuisinart can not be reached nor do they return calls or reply to emails. So the warrant is worthless and l am nos sure if I order a similar looking hot rod from Amazon will work. Customer services is terrible. So basically I have a very expensive charcoal grill. What a waste. Should have went Pit Boss

Sorry you’re having a hard time. Join the Facebook Woodcreek group and reach out to Randy May. He will get it fixed for you real quick. In the meantime, you can start manually with a blowtorch. I needed a replacement rod recently and torch started mine until it arrived.
