@@roadtraindrivingwithtonyivanq It's been at least 40 years since I last went up that road. between Geraldton and Carnarvon all ya had was Billabong or Woramel. Billabong had a bar so ya could have a cold beer but no one stopped at wooramel. It's all changed now.

Yeah, I’m not that optimistic about this , any new technology that doesn’t benefit the company and is beneficial for the drivers manly is not embraced that easily by the company , you know how things work, profit margins before anything else.

Yes, this is how the economy is fluctuating, there are still a lot of jobs out there but no where near what was two three years ago , all up in between the quads and linehaul still can easily accommodate many three hundred drivers, its a massive drop, we can feel the increase in cost of living in most of the sectors.

It is a bit hard to change brand because I have all the accessories and stuff for GoPro, I got the 10 and 11 series and they are only three and two years older, heat shouldn’t be the problem as I got the air conditioning blowing on them and never get hot, I have a feeling that the problem is from GoPro with the software updates, the older the camera the less updates and they are not automatically updating anymore, you have to go on their website and manually download them into your computer and then to update the camera, it is all business so you can buy the new version of GoPro, same like with the mobile phone. I got one or two more stuff up episodes from last fortnight work that I was editing and uploaded this past weekend and scheduled for next week and then should be ok, I did manually update the camera software this weekend too and so far last night and today was behaving well.

It does but a lot easier to maintain, petrol engines may be a bit more thirsty but at the end of the day when you take in consideration the cost of petrol against diesel, petrol is cheaper, then no EGR to worry about, no timing belt every 100k km, not just oil filters, fuel filter too every 10k km , when you look at overall expenses it may cost less to run petrol engines.And about camera, I will get another GoPro as all the accessories, chargers, spare batteries that I got are for GoPro.

Never know, it is what it is, can’t do much about it when I found out that was no sound recorded after I got home for the weekend.

It’s up to you, I told you guys that my camera is having issues, I had two choices, to put music or to have a mute video with no sound at all, it is not much I can do until after Christmas when I will be in the position to replace the camera as I’m not sponsored by any company or individual.

Sorry, it’s out of warranty, I will try to do some research and get some software updates or reinstall the software in the camera and if no improvement I will get a new one after Christmas.

Unfortunately is not covered by the warranty anymore, is 18 months old already and was 12 months warranty on it 🤷🏻 I will try to do some software updates to see what happens after, I wasn’t aware about the issue until I got home and a couple of episodes that I done in this fortnight were affected, only found out when I got home and started putting everything together to upload on the channel.

Yes, specifically with the triple road trains where you have to play musical trailers all day 😂😂😂

Nah, the real reason is if the cold dock people don’t pull out their finger and get the trailers ready before 8pm so I can get in Newman before 6pm Saturday when I may still get a chance to get a parking bay and not to park where I should park because I don’t have any other option and then get into arguments with other drivers that I’m making the turns too tight and hard to see, then I don’t want to do this run, the previous driver was departing depot on Saturday morning and stopping in one of the parking bay’s around Kumarina , and then was always a good couple of hours late on Sunday morning for delivery.
