And nah I didn’t see that one it makes sense tho, although he’s a defensive guy, when locked in he can be sort of like a matchup problem like you said with dragging the bigs out and using his slashing skill and bodying the little dudes when giving mid post touches (mainly against a team like the hawks or wolves who don’t have the luxury of putting their small guard on a useless offensive player vs a team like the clippers)

That’s such a disingenuous way of thinking tho. Every victim copes differently with assault. Some people call authorities, some people keep it private and then some people just expose their assaulter. Doesn’t challenge the legitimacy in the slightest. And yes the posts were getting traction and it increased significantly once twitter found out about it and it went somewhat viral and shortly after she deactivated her account (likely due to the harassment and pressure) more information will hopefully come out but to brush it all as fake makes no sense

Ofc always believe the victim first , but if she wanted to be taken seriously she should’ve handled the situation seriously. A lot of her claims had holes in it and when asked for her to further show proof she couldn’t . If this is true there is absolutely no defending that behavior but from the way it seems (AS OF NOW) it was just a bunch of bogus. This happens often to a lot of athletes , this is nothing new and in today’s world actually quite common . Hopefully if it is true she takes it to the authorities and gets it handled the right way so lawrence can actually face consequences.

Mahomes with the Chiefs. I can tell you hate the decision, and I hate how it came about, but this can be best for both parties. If it takes AR this year, and hell even next year, to figure out how to get the timing of the game down, then so be it. Flacco is proven. This owner wants to win. Steichen and Ballard have a lot riding on this move; can they develop AR for the future on the bench? I think so, but that hasnt been the Colts mo (Peyton, Luck, you get it) And to your other point, benching him one game doesnt work. What happens if Flacco, on Primetime, wins us the game over a good Vikings team? Now you're clearly benching him based off performance, and I think this situation allows us to say the benching occurred due to AR's inexperience, rather than his poor play

I think if they planned on benching him at some point to learn behind it then you shouldn’t have waited till in the middle of his 2nd season. Most other successful QBs who were benched to start in attempt to learn from veterans NEVER were declared the starter at any point until when they officially took over the team (not counting injuries) So it’s a bit different. I can’t think of any QB who was benched by the team and then came back with the same franchise successfully. I think it depends on how AR responds to this but at the end of the day I think benching a boom or bust prospect at 22 in their 10th career game while you are 4-4 is a horrendous move
