For some reason the jump at the beginning doesn't work and when I try to do the jump after the cannon it just sends my flying straight outward. No matter how slow I approach, no matter how much I brake while on the boost pads no matter where or how sharply I drift. I always fly off the edge

Act - Chadsoft DOES differentiate between New Tracks, Major Updates, and Minor Updates. Lava Road and SNES Choco Island 2 are "Brand New Versions" precisely because they're major updates. "Latest version" refers to minor updates. Full changelogs are available on the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki.

My favorite track in this video is Toad's Temple. I like the boost mushrooms and all the different paths.

This update was so good. All of the new tracks are so good (idk about Volcanic Skyway). Fort Francis has to be my favorite from the update for sure

Aside from Toad's Temple which I'm not really feeling (not a fan of mushroom sections lol, granted I only played it on 200cc and maybe it'll grow on me), I actually really like the new tracks in this update! My favourite CTGP update in a while!

I like these update videos a lot, but the cuts between tracks always feel so abrupt to me. There's never a moment where you actually let your thoughts breathe. It's always full gas on the commentary. Please, there's nothing wrong with having five or ten seconds between tracks where there's no commentary. There's also nothing wrong with giving yourself some time to pause during the commentary, either. It's so important to let your statements breathe and settle in. :)

Man I wish Nintendo used her more, she would have been perfect for any Mario spin-off like Mario Kart and such. I can definitely see her as a Perfect female heavy weight(for how tall she is compared to Wario), unlike a certain pink golden character.

I was honestly not a super big fan of the update until it came out: Good removals in my opinion, I do like the retro desert tracks but I do think retros should start going entirely, and star slope plus color circuit are not missed at all. Bluster Blob is a nice snow track with cool ideas and tech The Great Apple War is really fun to drive and will give nice races Super Sky Courtyard is kinda a stinker imo but I feel like it had a spot with the secret tracks. Starry Cityscape should’ve been in the pack for a long time, it’s super impressive. Aquadrom is so much better. Not problematic anymore and has a better shroom spot and an easier shroomless cut than the old shroom cut in tts Castle of Time REALLY needed a visual update. Some of megas tracks are borderline ugly before updates, especially Lost Fortress looks quite jarring to me now but COT is beautiful now. Thwomp Swamp will probably see a lot of play again after being a waste of a slot for 4 years (despite enjoying it in tts) Melody Sanctum also really needed a visual update and imo it got smoothed out too quite a bit. Windy Whirl and GBA Luigi are alright. They didn’t change but the updates made sense.

bluster blob bluff is so pretty! 14:13 it looks like that ice spike you pass by on the right of the road could be a shortcut to cut that turn super inside

how the hell did undiscovered offlimit survive but colour circuit die at least star slope is gone, and i'm glad aquadrom got a touch up

For the minor updates GBA Luigi Circuit: rearranged item sets, bug fixes Thwomp Swamp: Downscale, item sets rearranged. The history of this track was that it used to be under scaled, got an update that was considered overscaled, and this brings it into a happy medium. Windy Whirl: Bugfixes, remade Mii audiences (was done to remove the Miis of some problematic people)

I like that Aquadrom Stage is similar to how it looked back in 2012, as that version was nostalgic for me in the sense that it appeared commonly in Troy's streams and other custom track videos from 2012 to 2013.

I wish Incendia Castle died, one of the bottom 5 tracks in this pack
