Trailer talk boring, ok to overload a trailer, we do
Thanks for watching. Everyone has an opinion. I'm never going to take on the liability for being overloaded and being found liable in a law suit. I also prefer the peace of mind in knowing that my trailer is being used within its engineered design.
Would you buy the diesel again or go gas? I am curious because of how much louder a diesel is compared to gas. I would like to go diesel since I have a farm tank and would be easier to fill up. Just concerned it may be loud. Your thoughts. Thanks
I would only every have a diesel. I also have a diesel tank on my farm which makes fueling easy. Not a fan of running gas cans to the local store for fuel. I believe the gas engines are fine but I know the Yanmar is a tried and true engine that has been used for decades. Mine has 500+ hours and I've never experienced any mechanical issues.
@ Thanks for the reply! Been looking at gas and diesel, I also have a farm tank and same thoughts on fueling up.
@PCFarms1995 I drove a gas one at the dealership prior to making a decision. I don’t remember the diesel being much louder when driving. Sure it’s louder at idle. I don’t have an issue with the noise level.
Hi, this is Cristobal Cruz from Brisa Ranch in California. is nice to hear your comments about this tractor we bought one this year, and we are so happy this tractor works amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your comments.
How they widened the tractor was they flipped the hub of the wheel. We did it to the front wheels of our 6130m. All tractors look so much better with the wider stance
How’s the 5075M doing? I went with a Case IH 90C but really I think the 5075M is a much better quality machine.
The 5075M is a great machine! That being said my feeling is other machines are also great. For me it comes down to the dealership support as a huge deciding factor. I'm fortunate that my local Deere dealership is great.
From one John Deere owner to another, my friend, there’s absolutely no other brand I’d want exception Deere. No way am I gonna use any other brand! No Kubota, no Kioti, no Polaris, no Cub Cadet, no Kawasaki, and absolutely no Bobcat! If it ain’t green and yellow, I ain’t buyin’!
I own a Kubota mower and excavator and both are rock solid. I also own a New Holland track loader that has been awesome. I'd buy all again.
Just never talk about the fact that the cab is so small thats you can barely fit in it if youre over 6 ft lol
@@el_muumu8669 I’m 5’8” and it was fine
Great review! Looking at the same machine, I've rented one to dig and repair a well. Sweet machine.
Заводится хорошо, но долго))) ну а звук запуска просто бомба!
Thank you brother
Hey brother. I’m looking to buy a 5075M. Big investment for me. Is $83,000 a decent price for tractor loader deluxe cab and would you buy another one?
I would definitely buy another one but I cannot help with pricing. The market has gone crazy since 2021.
Nice Vid!
It's actually 8' wide.
Thanks for the video! How Many SCV’s do you need to run this mower?
This mower today is 20,000 dollars. That’s crazy 😮
@@davidjordan6378 that is crazy!
How much land are you managing with this tractor? I’m looking at a buying a 2010 pre-emission 5075m for our horse operation. I think it’s probably more tractor than we need but figure we could pick up small jobs helping neighbors bushhog.

The blade tip speed is higher on the E12 I think.
Higher than which other product?
dont have that brand and model for that cell phone holder by any chance?
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085CD27GQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Trying pick from the KX033 vs the KX040. Good 040 info here. Thx.
Did you pick one yet? I am torn between the two also.
Do you know if the 5075m is a 4 cylinder? Seems like a longer bonnet than a 5075e has but hard to tell from videos. Thanks
It has a 3 cylinder 2.9L engine
Mine is a 2020. There could be a change in the newer models
40 v 57 is absolutely the decision…..and trailering 10k lbs v 13k lbs is exactly what you said. I have multiple properties and transport is a must when you spend this kind of money. Thanks for video👍
Does the blade have float function?
Decent machine but cant stand front door and lift arms. No visibility to right side of bucket
If you save 1500 on 3 buckets. Thsts a win. Even if they only last 2-3 years a piece
Bought this about 6 mos ago, love it, a real workhorse. However i wish i had purchased the machine with the enclosed cab. If you buy one, spend the extra for the enclosed cab.
why so? can you please elaborate the importance?
did you get the cast pump version or the silver series version
Nice review on the KX 040-4 I just got a quote from my Kubota dealer on this machine your review was the best I’ve seen so far.
Great video. Thanks. I’m leaning, like you, on the 040. Lighter machine / easier transport on a trailer behind my Tundra is my main reason. Machine has plenty of power for working my property. I’m going to need steel tracks vs rubber. I’m up here in Alaska where we have ice and snow 5 months out of the year and rubber tracks are completely useless on ice and snow.
Careful towing with a Tundra, it's not rated for this machine on a trailer. Minimum 3/4 ton needed. 14k trailer will be maxed out. Be safe out there
@@alanackermann7799 yes, your right. Toyota does not make a big enough truck. I am looking at a Chevy 350 or a non CDL 5 to 7 yard dump truck to haul around with.
@jpdunamislodge good call on getting a heavier duty truck. I drive a Tundra as well - I wish it was able to do it legally, has plenty of power. What I found out is that any dually one ton has a GVWR of 13,000 lbs or more. This puts you over 26,001 lbs with the 14k trailer - CDL class A required. A 3/4 ton or non dually one ton can sneak under the 26,001 lbs but that's about it. I bought an F-650 with a GVWR 25,990 lbs which is under CDL but had to get my class A for towing the KX-040. Hope this info helps with your search
Solid info right there, good post friend.@@alanackermann7799
The 40 is about at the max of a 14k trailer, especially if gravity tilt.
I'm looking to purchase an excavator and was trying to decide between the 40 and 57, and your video helps quite a bit. Thanks.
Mine is for sale if interested
@@firstgenfarmer9809I am interested. How do I get in contact with you?
@@firstgenfarmer9809 how come your selling it
Have you sold your machine? I live in Gibsonville? How come your selling?
Seat has 2 height settings, if you pull up on bar raise seat and drop. Gives your hands a better position to joysticks, they are very low compared to others
You should look at kubota svl75-3, awesome machine. 1 piece cab now , pressurized, very quiet
I'd be curious if you could cover a bit of a comparison of it to your tractor. Sort of apples to oranges, but for guys only able to afford one, what do you really give up by not having both basically. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for watching!
Given that you’ve had it about 8mos now do you regret not going with the larger machine or are you happy with the 040-4? I’m in a similar position. Thanks for your video!
I’ll answer this way… The 40 has done everything I’ve needed it to do around my farm. Digging drainage, stump removal etc. However, if I had it to do over I’d probably get the 57. The 40 can be a bit tipsy and I wish it was wider and heavier.
@@firstgenfarmer9809 can’t tell you how helpful that is! I have the same projects plus I’m doing some of it on a hillside…
Looks like Linder shut down or something or moved over in burlington. Im up in PG running a 57-5 just renting for now. Did have to get a three axle trailer to move it.
They moved to Greensboro area. Built a new dealership.
@firstgenfarmer9809 just passed by Linder its pretty big. Looks nice
What is the price for new machine of this model? Can fit up to 60k?
75k
I'd love to see an instructional video on removing and reattaching the bucket/loader. One person. I'm a 5075 rookie and would feel better using the tractor for mowing and punching holes with that big bucket in the way.
Just the bucket or the loader? I never remove my loader to mow but I do drop the bucket.
Both. The loader-bucket assembly. @@firstgenfarmer9809
Looks low to the ground..
If so, I don’t have any ground clearance issues for what I use it for
Looking at same machine in Arkansas. They want 72,500 plus tax. Is that comparable o what you paid ?
i would like to see a new review, now that you’ve had 2 years.
I’ll get to that. Thanks for watching!
Grease ever day saves $$$$$
Do it by eye that’s your tutorial? The back must be set higher than the front and what you were changing was wing height relative to the deck and other wing
New follower. You have a nice place and setup. Just bought a sprayer myself and learning the ins and outs of it.
Same here couldn’t find anything in depth. I’ve got the ls2004 45 gallon coming
He meant the radiator isn't right in the way of the engine on other machines. Of course it has a door...
No he didn't mean that. He explicitly said there is no rear door.
But how open de rad?
Hey man, love the tractor! I built one and it just came in, but, the tires on mine are ridiculously small and look horrid. What size front and rear tires are on your machine? I want to have mine changed out before I even pick it up. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks man! Have a good one!!
What size are those front tires?
I posted a year ago about my e12 leaving strips but now since I had two technicians from John Deere come out and spend 2-3 hours adjusting it right it cuts better than it was new it’s all in the adjustment of every thing on these mowers but when they are right these things cut clean even with worn blades
Agree. They cut really good!
I just got a KX040. Can you show all the grease zerks? The ones on the cab, how often? Is there different ones for the turntable? Thanks in advance!!
I'll do that in a future video. Unfortunately that will likely be several weeks before I post again. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the response. For video ideas, how to use the float function and use it.. well. 🙂
Is there storage under the seat?
No excavator on the planet have storage under seat , seat is mounted firmly for safety
@@rontopping2048 maybe you should check some out because a few do, including the one posted in the video which I bought. I’m saying below the seat not under it
