I got mine from Sterling Ink, however they were having quality issues with them last year and don't see them on their site anymore

Lauren phelps Designs website has some clear covers that will fit some sterling ink sizes.

@@alisonmcdonald1978 exactly. I did bring a backup pen, but I’m using my 1 notebook (for non story related stuff) and it working out quite well. It’s hard enough to keep up with the one notebook.

@@SIMulatedSara I just ordered an undated B6 from 2023, because it was lavender and wanted to try a new layout. Also had to support a PNW company.

@@BiddyBop7 yay, I hope you love them if you decide to go with Sterling Ink next year. I got the covers from Sterling Ink. But I’m not sure if they’re going to carry them again next year. They were having some quality issues. I know there are lots of other places that sell clear covers, but I’m honestly not that knowledgeable in them. I know Hobonichi sells some, but their sizes are somewhat limited. Good luck with your search and let me know where you find yours

@@SIMulatedSara this was going to be my suggestion! and what i'm going with next year - they have a few size and layout options and the covers are a minimal black. they just ended their preorders but they'll have the new 2025 stock sometime this fall

@@SIMulatedSara i have! i used one last year but it was undated so im looking forward to not having to date everything. the biggest change is the previous one had 68gsm tomoe river paper and their new ones will have the standard 52 gsm that most know from Hobonichi. The binding held up really well to adding a bunch of pictures too.

Yeah, I was in the Cousin last year, and I struggled with how big it was. I just didn't need all that space. I don't do journaling or art, so I really didn't need the space. I hope you find planner peace in 2025. I almost went with the B6Slim, but I'm really excited about the TN size. I hope you love Sterling Ink!

I'll have to look at Aura Estelle, I've seen videos of these planners, but never paid close attention to their layouts. I'll definitely have to look closer, now

@@SIMulatedSara Also, depending on his preferences for paper and what not, there are lots of spiral planner options that are in bundled format at Target, Walmart, or on Amazon. Pretty much just tomoe river paper and Japanese style planners have the monthlies separated from the weeklies.

Hi, I love seeing people's planner-hopping journeys through the years. It's so fun to see how we shift and change over time. i was a rings girlie back in 2015-2016ish. I still have my old Filofax Malden. Who knows, maybe I'll move back into it someday lol. I love, love, love the Hobonichi Weeks, and I saw the original Techo for the first time last week in person, and I was actually quite impressed with the size. It always looks so small on people's videos, but it wasn't too intimidating in person. :) That would make sense why all the TN stuff is so cheap on Carpe Diem, I'm glad we both snagged a TN in time!

@@SIMulatedSara 😂 If it’s a style thing plum paper does have neutral options. Papertess and Wonderland are probably more cost efficient though. 😁 I love my Plum Paper for work, but it ain’t cheap.

I'll have to look at both of those for my husband. I'm not sure he needs all the notes and quarterly pages (he's a simple man lol) but he seemed excited when I told him I had asked "the people of the internet" for a planner suggestion for him. Have you used Papertess or justscribble before? If so, how do you like it?

​@SIMulatedSara I'm using the TN undated 2.0 and I'm absolutely in love. She has dated a5 and b6 with this structure. Justscribble is launching a planner for the first time. I love the idea of having a horizontal weekly and a page for dashboard and then dated dailies. That's why I'll be changing next year.

I love the SI planners, and I'm excited for you for next year. I hope you like them. I got my covers from SI, however it's unclear if they're going to carry them again next year. There were some quality issues with the covers this year.

I'm so glad you like long form content, too! I also love seeing how everyone sets up and uses their planners differently. It's so fun and inspiring. And thanks for saying you like my reading journal. I had so much fun setting it up, and love the idea of it. I had spent hours pouring over spreads and gathering inspiration. But it's been hard for me to keep up with. I do have a whole video on the flip through of my reading journal that goes into more detail. I love my library! I was fortunate enough to have been raised as a library kid, and now I'm a proud library adult! Thanks for the editing software recc. I had read about DaVinci Resolve, and can't remember why I decided against it. But maybe I'll give it a shot. I"m sorry you also experience the planner slump, but glad to know I'm not alone. I don't usually feel the urge to change my planners, but I do feel the urge to *add* planners. And I don't know why I think it's a good idea to add more when I can't even keep up with the ones I have 😆 I know Sterling Ink does have the half years, but you do have to buy the full year's worth in two books. @@dlmarsh1916 hi! They do not come with a cover, but they are available in the shop. I will warn you that they had some quality issues with the covers this last year. Something about them sitting in a hot or cold warehouse before being delivered to the Sterling Ink shop. This made the covers shrink a little and they were hard to get on the planners/notebooks. I had to put them in front of the space heater to loosen them up before I was able to get on the planner/notebook. I know a lot of people were frustrated with this, and felt their cover never truly fit right. For me, it was a bit of an inconvenience, but once the covers were on and broken in, they were fine. I’m also not as concerned about it as others. That being said, I don’t know if that same batch of covers is still in the shop, or if they’ve sold through them, and it’s a new batch. But if you are particular about it, it may be worth sending an email to ask. There are other shops that sell clear covers, but I’m not sure which ones. Hope this helps and have a great weekend!

@@SIMulatedSara I remember her saying that once they sell out she doesn't plan on restocking them because of the issues they had. I have found that the Hobonichi Weeks clear covers fit the N2 Compact though, so that could be an option.

She did end up saying in the Facebook group that the clear covers will happen closer to the end of the year, if I remember correctly.

I have the the SI passport horizontal planner. And they do make inserts. I've watched all of the 2025 Sterling Ink release videos, and have so many ideas of what I want to do for next year. Stay tuned for a video coming this weekend!

I was lucky enough to get mine the first day the sale went live. They were sold out a day or two later

Team big laptop! I'm not sure if the reason I'm liking purple is because of Sarra, I'm sure it's not hurting. But I've been watching her for years, and never cared about purple until very recently. Who knows? 😆 I've only been using my planny pack for a couple of days, but I'm actual disappointed with it. The zipper keeps getting caught and it's hard to zip/unzip. I'm not sur why they put the big metal zipper on the tiny planny pack, yet my large tote bag has a plastic zipper. Seems kind of backwards to me. I actually love, Love, LOVE my tote so far. Immediately after filming the video, I packed it up and took it out. I'm also going to be bringing it to the lake for a get together with the girlies! I do have some planners and goodies that are more expensive. I just tried to be intentional with what I buy, and only buy things that I know I will use, and in modest quantities. @@SIMulatedSara I love all of the Traveler’s Company TNs that I have and they’re all my favorites. Been using them for few years and the quality is really good, worth the price, tbh. The TN I got from Barnes and Nobles was the only one they carried, not sure if they’re still carrying it tho, I can’t remember what the brand is, it came with a plastic zipper pouch and 2 inserts which was a really good deal and the price was less than $15. My friend has been using the TN I gave her for few years now and she likes it 🙂

I love this idea! The undated feature works perfectly for this project. I keep an A5 notebook for each book I’m working on. And then each year, I have a separate writing planner. There’s some repetition between the two systems, but not much

@@SIMulatedSara I love that! I have an A5 for each book, as well. I just keep this little planner in the envelope in the back so I can track how I felt each writing day/session.
