Thanx for the video. Great visual of what 70% vlt tint will look like on my F150s two front windows. I had 5% limo all around but nothing on the windshield(truck looked immaculate) & ran that for a month before “super cop” in my hometown decided to fine me for it at end of month(aka “quota time$$$”). So very relunctantly pulled off the front tint the next morning & cop voided the ticket. So now will be tinting the two front windows + windshield with 70% vlt tint(which is compliant & legal with the motor vehicle act here in my home province of New Brunswick in Canada 🇨🇦)…..

As a PPF/Tint installer, why would that hood ever not be 1 piece? That hood is about as easy as it gets. Even the Macan can still be done in 1 piece & without seams.

Question. Going to get my windows tinted and wanted 35% They are telling me that if they put 35% whenever they finish it would test at lower the 35% cause windows already have a little tint in them. So is the tint in the video actually lower then 35% if it got tested or did y'all use a higher level so it would actually be 35% if cops tested the tint level?

Did you tinted a VW GTI MK7.5?? 3M Ceramic IR 35% or 50%?? Including front windshield??? Which recommend???

Is it safe to tint front windshield? Heard that the water running down the film when installing damages the cars electronics thats under the dash area. Not true?

Is there any gap on top of the window since it auto open when you open the door? Installer told me that they need to put a gap to avoid peeling

I just had my car windows tinted. I made a BIG mistake and got 18% all around the car. It's way to dark. I don't like it. I'm going to have it removed and put on 35% tint all around . My Dumb mistake. It's only money. No big deal. Thanks for posting this great video.

You leave 3M logos on the windshield? WTF

I have a 5% carbon tint on my Model 3 just like this, but it was different color than the stock tint around from the factory. Your tint seems to match it. But it could be that you took video indoor. Can you show us how it looks outside?

I know 3M is one of the best film out there but that logo in the front would drive me crazy. This is the perfect combo tho if you want privacy in the back and don't want the cops on you. It's more of a stock look but better. Me personally I would do 20% side for more privacy. 70% windshield should be the base tho but I think 50% is nicer but it's more risky. Even 20% on the side is risky for sure but I think it's worth the chance tho.

1:15 if you're going into SF now you're gonna need 5% all the way around 😅. They should've done 35% on the side so that the 70% windshield will look a little darker. The way it is now is just a waste of money imo. Looks almost stock but I guess some people just want the UV protection and not so much the privacy.

I have 3% on the rear doors 0% back window. I’m now doing 15% front sides and 50% windshield.

I was hoping the white would make it appear brighter.. to avoid tint police issues.

Hi. Already asked a question but I found out the car has no tinted windows. I carry two kids in the back. I was wondering if this combo is a good idea: 70% 3M Crystalline on windshield + 35% 3M Ceramic IR on front side windows + 15% Ceramic IR for back windows and back windshield? Is the transition from 35% to 15% Ceramic too strong or does it fade nicely? I'm on the fence between 35 or 15 for the front windows. Many thanks!

I have a new VW Tiguan and I was wondering if 3M Ceramic IR15 is a good option for all sides and back? Does it offer good visibility for driving at night?

I recently put the same 3m film on my model 3. I do have regrets and wish I went darker on the both back windows. Is it possible to go back and ask the tint shop to double layer the back windows? Would it come out ok?

Finally, someone tinting with a greater than 30% tint. Not everyone wants to be illegal.... I wish the tint had been 70% all around or, as a comparison, against a tint free window for a before and after.

Wish you had shown how it looks looking out through front windshield.
