I thought this was a small cottage, as I have seen a cottage of similar style, until I got a closer look.. it turns out it's looking like something to do with the mounted police division so I had a lucky escape 😄 ..and although it's only a simple little stable house it oozed character along with a friendly welcome and is one of my favourite finds and visits to date.

It's lucky you weren't chased by a horse!😃

Thanks for your input, that's something I hadn't noticed..a few small things happened on my visits here that sparked my interest in the place and I do wonder if there was something around.. For some reason I feel as though I have unfinished business there and have an urge to go back for another try so I might just do that if it's still accessible.

No worries. While observing the activity it had me wondering if spirits sometimes shapeshift into moths and other flying insects believing we don't realise they are doing that, or they could simply be guiding the creatures. Good luck with the unfinished business. :)

This is all new to me, we live and learn. And I can assure you I wasn't drunk.

It was a good old walk to get there through the woods and following the hedgerows of the fields but worth it..I plan to visit here again so hope Its all good next time round.

@@exploringmore01 nice 1 pal which way did you get in from the cricket end way or by the motorway I done loads buildings and mills stuff just struggle to get to this farmers

@@mrblue4233 ..we parked on the motorway bridge and over the wall through the woods following the hedge rows in the field along the motorway and into the woods again. It seems a bit of a trek but worth it, and then through them woods and it's all good 👍 If you do choose this way then be prepared for soggy feet ! ..And didn't see anyone all afternoon which was good, came out a different way along a track coming out over a gate to the main road.

Hi, it is pretty close to a road..there was an industrial estate up the way but I would imagine before that it would have been a lot quieter round and about.. it was an unexpected cool little find that 👍

It is a creepy place ! ..I do plan to try one more investigation there, a bit more involved but up the stairs ..and I'm looking forward to that 😀
