I bought they're first "album" Reading, Writing & Arithmetic on cassette tape in 1990 . I never saw a video of them yet . I thought Harriet was in her mid teens . She was 26 years old during the recording sessions of R.W.&A. they had such a great sound and Harriet had a superb voice . In the 1997 video Summertime she still looked so young and pretty of course. She was around 33 yrs old . Oh how i envy these ageless wonders :-)

Loved this song from the moment i first heard it. Still in my play list today. So many memories attached to it.😊

Band/album of my youth

I saw The Sundays perform at UC Irvine in 1994, I believe. What an incredible show/this song is my absolute favorite of theirs and Harriet sounds phenomenal-live!!!! 🫶🏼 🎶

I fucking LOVE this band. Their albums are all treat. If you'll check out their live stuff, it all sounds extremely good. And what few bsides I'm able to find, I like all these too. She's one of my favorites front-women, if not my all around fav. The damn songs are extremely well-written. They're classy and classic. What the hell kind of Midas touch was going on with them!?!??!!?

Not heard this for 34 years since it was on a college jukebox, n couldnt make out the words, but it's been in my mind all that time. I didn't know whose it was. Always assumed i would hear it one day on the radio or somewhere, but unbelievably never did. How could it be so hidden. Only just rediscovered last week. So glad. This is THE tune now song in my head

I used to have the live version they performed of this song on the radio in The Hague or “Den Haag” in The Netherlands 🇳🇱. That version was higher fidelity and you could really hear the genius of her melodic choices and his guitar and it was like this epically great Sundays song that got away. They were and are so influential on me.

Always liked this song, ingenious, it's about man going to the moon in 1969 and how it effected us down on earth.

The most underrated band in the history of music

Saw them at the QMU in Glasgow and they were amazing. As far as I am aware they quit the music business to bring up their kids and also taught children music.
