    Построил по чертежам FT Versa Wing с доработкой тупого носа, материал- подложка под паркет и ламинат. I built the FT Versa Wing according to the drawings with the modification of the blunt nose, the material is a substrate for parquet and laminate.

    Is that all you need besides the battery of course, a 40 amp Esc? To convert to 4s?

    • @unger_cnc
      @unger_cnc 6 месяцев назад

      Yeah I just swapped to the 40a esc and switched to an 11” apc prop. Stock prop is a bit much for 4s on that motor

    This look super nice to use as a tool for some search and rescue stuff if needed! Put in loiter mode and put a thermal camera on this😎 whats the specs? In the beginning of having a business drone related, and had some idea of a kinda big inav drone for either SAR or snow removal from powerlines :)

      This one runs 13” props with cobra 4010-350kv motors. I’m able to get 30 min flights with 6s2p li-ion pack. Building a 6s3p pack next for 40 min flights. Search and rescue was the exact use case for this design. Would love to add thermal to this setup.

      @@unger_cnc cool man! Looking very nice 👌👌 have to jump on the inav train i suppose😅 battery wise, do you recomend 4s x2 for 8s or just a pure 8s battery? Im pretty new to building, and all the jazz that i never learned😅 would my c rating increase alittle if I run serie? What is the give and take on that?

    • @unger_cnc
      @unger_cnc 6 месяцев назад

      @@GryteselvFPV c rating only increases when you run parallel packs. Series just increases the voltage. I would run a couple 4s pack in series as it’s way easier to find 4s packs

      @@unger_cnc thanks for taking the time to answer bud🤝 the last bit of info imma try fish out of you if u dont mind is as goes; my capasitor was bad on the 8s so I switched from 35v 400ish farad to a 50v 3300 ųf.. can that capasitor give that most tiny boost in a punch? It was like i felt there was some extra juice in the punch, but for a couple of ms 🤷‍♂️ the size difference is massive, but was the only i had 😅

    • @unger_cnc
      @unger_cnc 6 месяцев назад

      @@GryteselvFPV no you wouldn’t be able to tell on that size cap for power output. The capacity is so small it’s enough power to keep your esc’s lit up for 1-2 seconds probably. Good to have that bigger cap to protect your escs tho.

    Nice detailed video , nice well equipped/ designed unit .Any updates after using it for some time. Any inputs on the otb compressor and blower noise levels. is there a collection tray in the lower compartment?

    • @unger_cnc
      @unger_cnc 6 месяцев назад

      Thank you! I did notice the x and y axis wasn’t perfectly perpendicular to each other as I was getting some skewed results on bigger cuts that use most of the bed area. Very simple to adjust with 4 screws on each Y rail and used a metal square to get the rails perpendicular to the X axis. Should have done this from the start. Other than that, it’s been a great machine. Cuts through 1/2” poplar wood with ease. I use it to cut corrugated plastic, neoprene foam sheets, foam board, acrylic, and even card stock for stencils. Noise levels are fine for me as I have a cnc router which is 3 times louder than the laser. Overall the loudest part when using the laser is the compressed air I hook up to it. I have it set for 30-40psi when cutting. There is a catch tray for scrap material. Just remove the bed to gain access to it and pull big pieces out by hand or vacuum smaller pieces.
