By the way, he’s playing the song in D flat (guitar tuned down a half-step so playing like it’s in D), but it was originally recorded in C. That means he’s having to transpose on the fly (up 2 frets). Try doing that while being on whatever he’s on here. It’s not easy.

For some reason, he was on a lifelong. Self-destructing mode and he never was able to get it under control for any length of time and so it really compromised him on his longevity and that's why he only lived to be the age that he was when he died. Sixty six
