I found your video I was looking at a serger online and I wanted to know like which one is like the best one not there was one I saw that was over $1,000 and I'm not going to spend that much but I wanted to know how do you like your surgery I saw it on HSN and what do you what are your thoughts on your serger and do you recommend it

Hello! I wonder if I need to hold my fabric a certain way for cutting out the pattern? My knit fabric is much more stretchy in one direction than the other.

Anytime anyone mentions tweezers, I think about if hemostats would be a good option. I think if anyone has issues with grip strength, hemostats would help threading the bottom threads. You can reach through with the hemostat, clamp the thread, pull through, and release. Though I'm sure almost all able bodied people can use the tweezers easily.

I broke a lot.of twin needles trying to hem my shirt and eventually just stopped. I did use the washaway stuff. I eventually bought a walking foot but never used it. I heard it could not be used with a twin needle. I think I was using a st4aihht twin.needle but wondered if it was the needle.plate.thay was breaking the twin needles over and over again

I know this is not standard practice, but I sew the front and back neckbands separately and then join them at the shoulder seams. It is ever so much easier and I think it looks fine. A stress reduction technique.

Bit the bullet a couple of years ago and bought a Janome higher end coverstitch machine. Absolutely love it. No matter what adjustments I made, I could never get a double needle, on my Bernina general sewing machine, to work well with stretchy material. Will note that I searched diligently and bought it on sale through a local dealer. It has already paid for itself in time, money and no stress.
