Standard tire is 34.1. I have a 2024 with 7.3 3.73. Somehow at 75 I’m only getting 14.5. Only have 2k miles hope it gets better don’t understand how 4.30 and bigger tires can get better gas mileage than stock 34” tires and lower rear end?

Just bought a 2021 7.3 tremor 4.30 gears notice some hard shifting when test driving, but salesmen said it was due to a dead battery and the truck having to relearn. Wish I would have watched this video 1st! 😢. Glad it's still under warranty might end up taking it in. Any tips how to navigate this? Always heard ford gives you a hard time about warranty work. What will i have to pay out of pocket. Appreciate any feedback

You think like me and you can still get an optional winch as well. I prefer the Ford over the wagon as it comes with bigger tires more power and more room to put even bigger tires up to 38 I believe. More towing and payload. Some nice suspension packages you can get as well to get rid of the rough ride. Locker 4 wheel steering and supercharged is still on my list however or I am not buying anything.

My f-350 srw with 7.3 and 4.30 is horrible on gas! 7mpg city and 11-12 hwy. i cant live with that coming from a ram 6.4 that did 40% better

Not sure if anybody asked yet, but where did you get your 7.3L emblems? I love them and would really like to get some for my 7.3 F350.

It would be nice to know if the tremor package increases or decreases payload capacity, given a specific fixed set of options (so the trim level impacts to payload are removed).

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I have seen some people turn their RV jacks one quarter turn to the right. This enabled them to get their trucks tailgate fully to the down position when hitched to their RV. If this also applies to you, you could also be able to fully open your trucks tailgate. One more benefit is that the jack’s up/down switch would be on the driver side of the RV. RV manufacturers should always turn their RV jacks that way. Thanks for the great video. You cover a lot of important stuff in this one.

Oh wow! We are experiencing this exact temperature in Riverside Ca right now which is why i went searching for this kind of video. This was so helpful!! I thought the trailer we rented wasn't working properly. Praying it cools down overnight for tomorrow... it's going to be a scorcher and we have no shade trees by our capsite😢😮

FYI, 2024 f250 tremor is too tall for my 7 ft garage and floor does not have a rise in it.

2-3 years later they're still having module issues.

My 2022 Ram 2500 was in the shop almost every 6 to 8 months always something emission, damn mass air intake light came on every couple weeks. Traded on a 7.3L and completely happy. Unless you’re able to delete them, the newer diesels are worthless.

I’m glad someone finally went back to a lower gear ratio! No truck needs a 10 speed And 355 gears! What truck pulling anything heavy wants to be doing 180mph pulling a horse trailer or skid steer! trucks need these gear ratios if not than go back to a 4 speed

So basically they did it for legal/weight reasons?

That Sport Mode is not a performance sport mode, all it does is relax the traction control into a more sporty setting. It does nothing to the engine performance.

I had the old wires in my 2021 motorhome and started having problems travelling thru eastern Oregon. The local Ford dealer would only replace the one misfiring wire with the new wire under warranty but I replaced the other seven with the new wires. A few hundred miles later the check engine light is on and I'm having the same problem with the new wires. WTF? Why doesn't Ford have a solution for this problem.Godzilla godshmilla!

ahh hell that motor ain't even broke in yet...7300m... the motor gets better after 10k. I've got the 22 7.3 Crewcab standard bed 2WD with the 4:30's and i get about 14 on the highway.. 4:30's are nice but really only good for towing.. Not that good around town and not that good on the highway.. but damn good when towing..

I have the F350 diesel and use the lower gears well going downhill without a problem it has 355 gears mixed with a 67 diesel is a 2023

When climbing a hill not using cruise control switch to manual and downshift on the steering column and that will pick up your speed without it bogging or lowering itself down in gear
