Просмотров 81414 часов назад
It’s been 34 years since I had to sell one of my favorite cars, my 1971 Elcamino. I finially, after all this time, built me another one. The excitement and all the memories came rushing back after the build started, an then finally my first test drive. It was like old times! The feeling is undiscribeable! If you’re not a car guy, you may not understand. Hope you enjoyed te video, as much as me,...

Great video guys! It gave a great back story on you and displayed an awesome car! I like the mix of technical and street machine videos, keeps it fresh, I can’t wait for the next vid!!!
@@velascor747 Thanks Rafael! We will keep them coming 👍
My best friend owned a 1970 SS El Camino 396 black on black in 1976 thru 1985. He sold it to finance the restoration of his 1958 Corvette. He knew almost instantly that he would regret it.
@@kerrylewis2581 I know that feeling lol. Maybe one day he will get it back👍
😊❤😊
I really enjoyed the story about your car! Killer looking ElCamino !!
Thanks Mark👍
Bad ass bro ... Cool back story as well I remember that car in 89 and of course I remember Mike too
Right on Art! Thanks brother!
I remember the other one . Very nice
I knew you would bro👍👍👍
So are you making more of those shifter mounts? If so, price?
@@cuttingedgehydrographics2134 Sorry, No I just usually make them when we build complete cars. We are too busy at then moment to make parts. Maybe in the future.
@@FFRC 🙁 Would love to get one for my Precision air shifter.....
Did you cnc the mount plate. And as always great work and keep them coming..
Hey Mark! Yes, in the first few minutes of the video, I cut the plate on the plasma table.
My father passed away a couple years ago. He had a sand dragster with a 700hp 377 for years. I've got his spare block and rods, this inspired me to rebuild that booger. Great build you got there!!
Thank you! Good luck on your build!👍
I had one in my 72 Chevelle, I miss that car
should sound pretty rowdy 😊
👍👍👍
I'm in! Let's do it!

They got the wrong wheels on this car, they're just gonna spin with no grip, needs something like doughnuts.
Killing it😮💨

If you ever decide to drag and drive the car the duel tank set up would be an excellent asset.

Anything but a dodge

lol!
Nice brother make things easier. Keep them coming
Looks Sweet...
@@BigTireCamaro2000 Thanks 👍
Looks killer Aaron! Are those 29.5s in back?
Thanks John! Yes 29’s in back, but most likely it will have 28’s on it, for most of the racing around here. I wanted to be able to put 29’s on though, just in case lol.
simply stunning - what a major step 😙 and you make also those (slight) modifications look so easy 🤠 really diggin that low stance and those (oldschool) wheels & tires 😗 street 'n strip sounds damn cool 😁
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words. I’m glad you are digging the build🤙🤙🤙
We are going to be coming up at the end of the summer luv to see this thing . But I'll call you be for we do. Awesome work. Keep them coming
Sounds good buddy! Hopefully it will be 100% complete when you see it in person😎
Yeah buddy that thing looks SICK!!!!
Thanks buddy!🤘
Beautiful Nova Brutha .. BUT PLEASE... PLEASE You seem old enough to know Chrome & Polished Stainless steel / Aluminum are timeless So PLEASE PLEASE buddy don't do the black out thing where all the chrome & trim has been painted . Satin black was always Primer at our shop or underhood paint Keep up the beautiful job .. Thumbs up....
Absolutely! I would never paint the chrome lol! We are on the same page my man! No worries😊👊
Looking forward to seeing how it sits with the engine in it.
I agree, me too😊👍
Perfect stance. Looking really good. Nice work guys
Thanks Bill!👍
Street car with 200mph roll cage..more like race car
Well thank god I’m not going over 200 mph😂😂
IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE PLEASE REACH OUT TO US! The original video with the engine sound got a copyright strike for the music we had playing. We had to put this random RUclips music over it to allow you guys to at least see the video. If we take the RUclips music out the video keeps getting taken down. We really want to get the video going where you can hear the engine again! Its nuts!!!
Try a straight inline 6 with a 6 speed transmission
nice job boys
Thanks👍
I'm positive many of us watching your build are curious about the COST into a completed rolling chassis as you have here. I understand a quoted price build would be difficult to give but lets say this build as you are doing here if it was for a customer but as a roller only (COMPLETE ROLLER ) MINUS the engine, transmission and wiring and yet have all the tin work and with windows re-installed so the consumer could finish the build by installing his own powertrain, guages, wiring and all the other million pieces himself. A simplier way of asking -So if you wanted to sell this build right now once you removed it from the chassis table, how much would you ask for it? Don't want to put you on the spot but we would be interested in what something this clean of a build and done right could set us back?
Thanks a good question Bill. Not exactly sure at the moment. I will have to sit down and figure out, what I have into it at this point. Obviously the cost of the body itself, will be a big factor in the price. Before the build is done, I will give you that number👍
Nice work. Please keep the videos coming.
Thanks Eric! Will do buddy 👍
SB2 heads, all high dollar stuff an average man can not afford ?!
Hey Peggy, Look close, the heads are not SB2 heads. They are 23 degree brodix. You can’t afford a stock block??? lol
Way to go bro, since I've known you for so long, I can see all the experience you have acquired, and it's definitely a professional job. Looking forward to see the next one.
Thanks brother! Miss the old days when we worked together! Best of times!
Looking great Aaron you knocking that baby out!!! LETS GO!!
We going racing soon buddy!
