Ted Greene - Autumn Leaves
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.12 лет назад
Ted is giving a master class to hundreds of guitar players, and he was just speaking about keys and explaining how J.S. Bach handled music. Someone again yelled out Autumn Leaves and Ted takes about 15 seconds to decide what key signature he will play the tune. Then he starts...and at the end he ends a ...

If there's a more beautiful piece of music on earth, I've yet to hear it...Thank for uploading this. My guitar teacher Robbie MacKay, took lessons from Ted and turned me on to his playing. So beautiful :) Much love to everyone reading this, from my corner of the world in the Yukon (Canada).

When I first heard Ted Greene I think 40 years ago , he was a purely great musical guitarist that did things with Harmonics that I’d only imagined. . I wish he was still here with us. One not to be forgotten. Thanks RUclips and all those who remind us .

Ted opened so many new doors to the house of guitar. He also left a bunch of extra keys around for people to try on the locks that remain. So did George Van Eps. He was Ted's teacher for awhile.

Truly this man did it all when it comes to the music world. Hope he was ready to meet JESUS CHRIST at his death, otherwise, all was in vain. Well maybe not in the sense that he was a major influence on the Christian players as well as secular. R.I.P. Buddy. You absolutely were the god father of the pedal steel guitar.

That seems like all manner of harmonizing from a melody line. Each single note like a single fretted note in the melody gets accompanied by delicious other notes that evoke the exact feeling. And he does it one after another. Hugely impressive.
