Developing custom plugins for Resolve is unfortunately extremely cumbersome and aggravating at times so this video is very essential! It's ridiculous how difficult it is to find dev resources for Davinci Resolve. Not only is the documentation extremely vague, but much of the information is scattered around the internet across various forums. I hope Blackmagic takes the time do develop proper API documentation.

Amazing tutorial , please do more Davinci 3D text tutorials like this (especially recreating Element 3d/blender/C4D text looks)

Amazing tutorial , keep growing . i have 2 doubts 1) is it possible to use fonts with alternate glyphs/swashes ? 2) Does Davinci have all the text styling/shading features that are generally available in photoshop or After effects named under LAYER STYELS (like Bevel & emboss , satin , pattern overlay.....etc..,)

Hi, I did this, and I have a problem. The inside of the text is filled with transparency, so whenever I try to put it on some background or to chromakey the background at the end, it just includes the frame of all characters, not the solids. Any possible fixes? (edit) Fixed by editing that transparency you set to 0.1 in the image gradient fill.

hey man, I am hoping you can help me out here. I am using the codec 265 422 from my FX3 camera. Playback is fine. But the moment I add even a directional blur, for get it. It will not play back properly. I have a specced out M2 Macbook Pro with 96 GB memory, why is this happening?

Thank you for the video. I "liked" it. My archive project is 30gig. When I did "Media management" of that project like you described, that folder only had 5 gigabyte. BUT there is no Davinci Resolve Project file in that folder. If I were to send that "Media Management" created project folder to someone, how would that person open that project? Thanks again
