I want to discuss the politicization of the tragic crash over the Potomac River two days ago. It is absolutely critical that politicians stay out of air crashes the American National Transportation Safety Board without one of the finest investigation units in the world. It has integrity. It has impartiality and it has the technology and it has expert staff who are amongst the world best.

Is Qantas's Fleet Age a Problem? Find out the Truth
The new Ocean Infinity ships look pretty smart. Hopefully MH370 is finally about to be found. Mainly so the families can have some kind of closure but also so the case can officially be solved even though we have all known the answer for a long time.
Whats the average depth of that part of that ocean i wonder...
It's around 13,00ft (4000 metres) (2.5 miles).
They should start the search in Kazakhstan.
Thx Geoff. Really appreciate this great info.
Boeing? Run....Run....Run. Parts made in India. Software developed and tested in India. We see the result. Emirates, Qantas, KLM all of them cancelled Boeing and went with Airbus.
Great stuff Geoff
Great news Geoffrey.......and great news channel........
Thank you Rod....we are trying and getting better I think.
I hope they find it.
Great news! It's time that the families and friends of the victims have closure.
The best flight simulator aviation advisor in AU 🤣
No evasive action, intentional crash, remotely controlled "terrorist" attack?
This video has nothing to do with the title.
This pic. Looks 9/11 same. Those innocent passengers killed in seconds.
Wrong title. There is no mention of the Learjet crash in the video.
Excellent airline news...Congrats to Lufthansa + continued thanks for their Boeing 747 service!
Wow! Is that a center throne seat? Still not sure it would convince me to fly Lufthansa 😂
The helo never takes evasive action - because he NEVER SEES the CRJ (AA5342). He is fixated and looking at another plane - probably AA3130 (behind AA5342 and also on final)
There are not many of us C-118 people left.
Beautiful engines, beautiful territory, beautiful sound. Thank you from Christchurch NZ
Well said
Impossibility guess they sacrificed to get something passed going around the red tape🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve seen better pallor in fresh chicken.
When I was doing my national service in SA back in the 80s I was in the fire department unit. We used to have to stand in front of the C 130s and c160s with a fire extinguisher during engine start up. Always loved it. Also got taken for a flip in an Alouette chopper while in Angola was so excited. I remember it vividly all those years ago.
Tam thoi khong di dau la chac an.
What an absolute clue less moron. What is this 🤡s credentials? Sunday school?
When I was a young man I had the opportunity to fly the 727, the Tristar and the DC10. Something about the trimotor configuration that is so cool.
Thanks Geoffrey, those CNN videos are chilling but have critical information. I've grabbed all the screenshots of the two views at the full 25 fps and 1080 pix resolution, 431 frames in all. Before any frame by frame analysis is done, it seems to be (for at least the last 5 sec) the UH60 was flying constant altitude, suggesting it was a conscious levelling off at 350', and not part of a gradual climb the pilot was unaware of. There are two slightly different views : run_seq_1 => 5.04 sec From bombardier left side, about 3x further range than seq 2 : run_seq_2 => 2.88 sec From DCA flightline, probably on runway #33 centre line (ILS camera?) Seq 2 suggests that the UH60 caught the A/C from underneath, and it was helo fuel that exploded and travelled with the helo, as the AC rolled right wing upwards (loss of lift on left wing due to explosion?) A reconstructed 3D trajectory might be partially possible from these images alone, to understood what the left and right seats in each airplane could have seen of the other craft. The UH60 nav lights are clearly visible, even from the long-range cam, as is the left bombardier (red) nav light
It's particularly tragic that a flight meant to save lives ending up costing lives.
Spot on! 👆
A few seconds before landing... it's terrible!
This is so tragic.
Well said, Geoffrey!
Could not agree more Geoffrey. The amount of absolute bull crap that is being spewed is beyond belief. And all being done, not in the interest of safety, but to create political capital. I'm heartbroken and sickened. No leadership.
Geoffrey does nice job on CNN usually keeps it real
Another plane just fell out of the sky after takeoff in Philadelphia
And it looks like it was already in flames as it fell nearly vertical.
Well serveral things are certain. - The CRJ was NOT at 200ft - The Helo confirmed visual on "A" plane. It's quite obvious that if they had a visual on said plane you wouldnt fly straight towards it. Therefore, its likely they were looking at the outbound flight from runway 1. - The ATC controller did not use specific verbiage like, do you have a visual on the CRJ "Inbound" or "on short final" to runway 33.
Geoffrey you are quite right, we need to see the 3D trajectories and attitudes of all three aircraft in the sky at the time and the UH60 - that rules out and rules in all potential explanations. Then we work from there, figuring out what changes are needed to VFR separation procedures.
are you going to try and tell me, out of the million cctv cameras esp in that area..that no decent HD footage has been put forward...so obvious the official story is a croc..
@@TheUrantia001 there is new footage which we will post today
@@geoffreythomas-on-air okay will check it out...ta much
It was dwarves that did it! Right?
where is the wreckage of the helo?...many witnesses claim they never saw any Helo..
@@TheUrantia001 new footage shows it clearly
You can clearly see from this video that the helicopter ran right into that plane ✈️ there was no reason for that to happen that helicopter pilot was to blame
3 pair of eyes watching porn instead of traffic... Mil exempt itself from having commerical radio to communicate on commercial flight frequencies...
0:45 Technicality, I believe it was flight AA5342, not 5432.
Thanks Ron. Will correct!
The chopper pilot must have been confused by too much traffic. I wonder if the the final report will say anything else. Edit: I just learned the helicopter should not have been above 200 feet, but had climbed to 350 ft when collision occurred.
Why don’t don’t you just keep the debris and have independent sources do a report on the wreckage found. Keep handing it over to the same people with no results makes absolutely no sense. Very strange
What are helicopters doing anywhere near a runway? And at that height? If the need to patrol the area the can do it in a humvee ffs!
Thank you for the info
Isn't Mauritius pretty much on the way to the SIO ?
You need to go on a sun holiday. I've seen fish with more colour than you!
Yes need to get the lighting right.....
good crisp report ... thanx
OMG ! RIP to all, pilots, crew members and passengers 😞
