I love this piece a lot and I hope my church's choir can sing this sometime this year. Thanks for putting this together it is truly magnificent.

I love Gregorian chants but this polyphony appears strange to me. Can't we just leave things the way they are? Why does everyone need to change everything nowadays? Those chants never get boring the longer you listen the deeper you get in touch with God. No polyphony needed at all here!

I had to study for an exam. I was struggling to focus. This prayer helped me to focus.

While I have many favorite Psalms, generally Psalms 90 through 102, Psalm 51, this one is one of the best. It covers so much for the soul to contemplate. The Just Judge who is provoked, consequences for sin, our peril in the face of temptation, thanksgiving for His merciful deliverance, just consequences for those hardened hearts who oppose God and His faithful. I have used this Psalm to help orient myself to examine my conscience many times before going to sleep. It is a great way to ask God to reveal my sins or faults I have done and make an act of contrition, and to help me to be better tomorrow. The simplicity of the mode helps encompass all of these spiritual realities with wonderful inflections while also keeping the sobriety of the psalmist's words.

I love the mode that was used with this psalm. It is just sublime. I prefer the orthodox chants, but this even surpasses orthodox chants to be honest.
