Experience the joy of rubber powered model aircrafts. Stick and tissue models need craftsmanship and perseverance rather than a lot of material and money to be successful. On this channel I would like to present handmade models that hopefully fly well.

Bring your passport when flying a Kiel Kraft, it may land in another country.
I'll keep this one in mind!🤣
What a beautiful airplane! Rudolph
Thank you 😁
bought a Guillow's Mustang 51 when I was in my 50's and promised myself that when I retire i would build it. Had to take care of my parents because of their health preventing me from building it. I'm now 72 and I think it's time to build it. Great video. thanks : )
Thanks for the message. I'm glad to hear it. Watch out for the weight, especially at the tail and covering :-)
Wonderful.
Wow
😁
Very nice models and great flights! It is good to see it is actually possible. Whenever I tried to fly in humid conditions the tissue would wrinkle and there was no way of trimming the models. I guess it needs more time and trial. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the kind comment. Yes, it is possible to fly like this. Without the meeting with friends, however, my models would have stayed in the dry room 😁
Cool models, cool video...👍 As always!!!😊 Thx for sharing!😉
They all look so amazing. I hope to see the Mystery Ship again and flying. I have always wanted to build one myself. Such fun friends you have there. Looking forward to seeing more.
I have wanted to build this particular Fillon design since I was a teenager 55 years ago. It is still on my list, though I have built and flown several other wakefields from the 30s and 40s. I completely understand how these wonderful old models have captured your heart!
they all look amazing!!
Simply a great short video! Too the point!!!
we love your videos!
Don't need landing gear for tree landings!.... interesting to know how you got it down?
With a few little holes in the covering, it could be recovered with a ladder 😁
rubber power ff is like coconut water, harmless and good for you.
I know it's an older video, but could I get some information on the PZL P.24 shown in 2.50-3.05 minute? Like what plans, motor, availability, etc? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. Great models.👍
The model was built and flown by George Kandylakis. It's best to ask him on his channel, he has made several videos of this model. ruclips.net/video/USFp__WmlPM/видео.htmlsi=nxYcuXJ9SyNEWY3n
Here is his Facebook group : facebook.com/groups/1485693254944963
Thank you very much.
I wish people would be more accurate. This is NOT a normal Pipert J-3 Cub; this is a CLIPPED WING J-3, specifically the Reed Conversion once popular as an entry level aerobatic ship. And for those who don't know, what makes it suitable for competition aerobatics is NOT that it can do the maneuvers, it is that you can make a bad.mistake and not DIE, because suitable control stops have been included to keep from damaging control surfaces during accidental tail slides. If you make a scale J-3 out of this kit, the span goes to 15" which.means it is no longer a Peanut. So please- don't be sloppy with what you call it- you might mislead someone into thinking the kit will yield a normal J-3 when in fact it won't.
Thanks for this information. I was not aware of that. I have adapted the video description.
I really like your plane transport system!
Salut c'est bon
Merci 😁
you might wat to put some soft tubing over your motor hook
Thanks - That certainly wouldn't do any harm. Fortunately, with 80% maximum turns, I haven't had any rubber cracks yet.
I'm just finishing constructing my P51 from the Vintage Model Company. Watching him wind up the rubber band I had no idea that is how it is supposed to be done ! Pity he didn't show some of the construction and trimming it up before his first flight. It's amazing how far it can fly just with a rubber band.
Thanks - it's already old video of mine.
Thanks for the Video, it Seems, that I missed this Special Event… sure, I will Mark the Date for our next Meeting! Great Event, congratulation❤
Número of this model....hace a building plan?
cool 😎
Fun event, nice airplanes, good field
I have seen plans for those butterflies but never thought they would fly like that. Added to my list. Thanks for spreading the good times!
They fly incredibly well! Mine were built a bit bigger with slightly better propellers. Flown in the video with a good 600 turns, so only half of what would be possible. My older video of the collection : ruclips.net/video/lDR-ZDYsO6A/видео.html
Great party! Would love to have something like this in Hamburg!
What a great video a group of total strangers with a common interest gather together to have a fun day in the sun and make new friends. That’s what it is all about, an activity that brings youngsters of all ages together in an activity every one can afford and enjoy. Best of luck to all pilots as they learn to build, tweak and most of all enjoy the hobby.
What a great comment! Thanks for that 😁
Looks like a lot of fun! I am somehow very attracted to the rubber powered models, but I just can't get them to fly. I probably don't try enough. Thank you for sharing!
Don’t give up, perhaps it’s the particular model you’re building and how you build it. Weight is everything the lighter the better its chances it will fly. Also learning how to trim a model once built makes a lot of difference. There are RUclips videos showing how to build and trim basics for beginners. Watch and learn. Most of all it’s about the enjoyment of the build and having fun best of luck to you
Laughter and smiles need no translation. Thank you for sharing.
Great !
Thank you for sharing everyone having a great time...thats what modeling is about...beautiful county.
Nice little contest!!!😉 I wish I had some friends who share the same eager interest and enthusiasm for free-flying rubber powered model aircrafts!🙁 Great and fun moment! With friends!!😉😎
Are plans available for the helicopter type models?
outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=12308 , ruclips.net/video/lDR-ZDYsO6A/видео.html
One survived the dreaded 180 degree turn, right back onto the runway 😂
Brilliant! What a great idea to share it in the mix with Tom Hallman's cool RUclips channel.
Thanks! The idea with the mix is probably from youtube. I think it's fitting, of course!
Yes! And... ummm... in actual fact... I confused YOUR RUclips channel with Tom's channel! I confused your name "rubberfly" with his "maxfliart"! 🤪😸
003 this is a weird model. it is Longer than its wingspan.!
Wunderschön! 😊
Danke! 😁
Absolutely superb. You make building and flying those things an art form. This plane looks and acts more like an insect than an aircraft. Beautiful.
Great idea. How do you construct your props (4 bladed for example)? Do you have any video? I would be very interested to see one. Thanks again for sharing.
You can see a little of it in this video from the EKW C-3603 : ruclips.net/video/Hruw5LkHLqw/видео.html
@@rubberfly Thanks. I will implement one with balsa blades and bamboo shaft, and see what happens :-))
homesick angel
That was fun to watch!!
Thank you 😁
nice
Beautiful... Almost meditative. Thanks. BR, Per (Denmark)
Thank you 😁
Beautiful model and excellent video production.
Thank you 😁
When I was a little kid, I spent two weeks building a rubber band powered airplane. I tuned it, did small test and then I proceeded to wind it up all the way. I was full up excitement and let it go. It flew perfectly. Up, then strait, then up, then strait.... Over the houses and out of site. I never sow it again.
Impressive. I don't know that feeling (yet).
I would make tissue paper hot air balloons. One flight only. I know the feeling.
Superb !Congrats and cheers from France !
@@eriklapparent4662 Merci beaucoup ! Malheureusement, je ne connais pas encore la scène du vol libre en France. Il y a certainement de bons sites de vol là-bas 😃
Bravo. Thank you for renewing my childhood memories of free flight and the magical moments of a successful one. I'll be getting my Wakefield model out of storage now.
Thanks, I'm glad about that!
Beautifully made planes and video. As a radio flyer, I admire your courage in sending your creations into the unknown 😁😁
Thank you 😁
very nice. Jack Tisinai built one which flew well back about 25 years ago.
Congratulations! I',ve never seen a model constructed in this way before, with the fuselage upper sides at 45° to the underside of the wing.
