Episode 1 EleventyOne Things I did while prepping for Bendigo
Come behind the scenes with me in the studio as I worked through the last few days of prep for the Australian Sheep and Wool Show in Bendigo (2024).
My newest vlog style video shows the highs and lows I experienced, the challenges and solutions and a bit of a dive into all the things that go into the last minute preparations for a big show like Bendigo.
I hope you like this raw, unscripted style of my vlog... I honestly didn't plan any of it, I just turned the camera on a few times and tried to show what I was doing in the studio.
Please leave a comment if there's something you'd like to know more about from the video, or if you want to see other BTS things from my studio (or even if you j...

I looked everywhere to find an existing method for how to create this, and I just couldn't find it anywhere, so I developed the technique combination for this design. Enjoy...

Hand Woven Flowers (A Stop Motion Movie)

I completed this little creative project as a palate cleanser between some big knits. I love weaving, it's such a calm creative process and when these little flowers were complete, they told me that they were desperate to be a stop motion animation! If anyone's interested, I also LOVE stop motion (though I'm no expert). It took over my dining table for an afternoon, and some of my family may ha...

Glad I watched this AFTER Bendigo or you would have made me even more stressed than I was! Seeing your work at the show I can say that all your hard work was so worth it. Also, I was just watching someone's vlog where they said the printed bag was like, their favourite thing, so good work on that too!

With the small cut outs from the sock blockers, can you punch a small hole and put on small split-rings - use as stitch markers?

Fantastic vlog........So real and true to life. Your products look very professional but still handmade. What other shows do you do? Do you sell online? Was the show worth all the trouble? At the least you have a good supply of stock. Well done

So interesting to see how another crafter works. Im Bondi Crafter on RUclips. I live in Sydney NSW. I have just subscribed. I loved the stencil and see a copier in action. Very helpful partner too. I always need a deadline about 2 weeks before the actual deadline so that Im not that stressed (mainly in theory) and it always ends ok. Hope to see soon.

not really, you just need to make sure you keep your yarns in the same orientation each time you pick up the project!

First off I love the sweater pattern. I am right now working on a blue and white sweater with the trees similar to this along the bottom. I am a continental knitter. I have searched and searched for how to float continental. I’m so glad to have found this video. I have been doing an English float technique which is puckering my work. Since the sweater is a wear at home, learn how to knit color stranding project I am not too worried about it. I’m just glad to find a continental method of doing the floats.
