Round Zipper Pouch

This little scrap-buster pouch is the result of a challenge from a friend. She said she can't cut straight and she's terrified of setting in zippers. She challenged me to come up with a project she can do. Here it is.
Accordion Fold / Foldy-Fold Card
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.8 лет назад
Several years ago on a road trip we found an awesome city map that folded something like this. I was fascinated with it. When we got home I took it apart to make one of my own.... but I ended up with a pile of scrap map parts :-( Since then I've seen a few how to videos, and had try it. The first one took me about forty-five, and the steps seemed so complicated. But I persevered, and in the pro...
Hanging Organizer

When I started out to reorganize my craft room I needed more storage space, but didn't have any more room.... except for the back of the door. I wanted something that had the size pockets I needed, so decided to sew up this Door Hanging Organizer. Not a quick project, but sews up really nice when it's done!

Went to your FB page where I saw that your husband Steve said you are now "crafting in heaven" after losing your battle to cancer. I just want to thank you for teaching me how to make bowl cozies with your calm, patient way of teaching. They have helped me make a little money when I really needed it. So thank you and may you rest in peace. 🙏❤ P.S. I have bookmarked your video and return for a refresher whenever I need to make more.

What size is the pockets for large. I know you said 5 1/2 but is it also 7 inch or do you increase that as well? Also great video.

I can see all of these made larger for potholders (heat resistant batting in the middle. So, two base fabrics, one heat resistant batting, then the folded pieces. A bit thicker but I see possibilities!
