He could have started by releasing only a few hundred titans to destroy all the military bases as well as political buildings around the world, to neutralize their ability to continue striking ParadisIsland and limit their ability to continue brainwashing the public. He could have convinced Yumir to remove the titan powers from all the Eldians and communicated this to the outside world through negotiations. With the old regimes around the world all gone along with their ideological influence and their ability to act on them, there would be a far better chance for the world to live in harmony with Paradis Island.

i really enjoyed both wit and mappa but I do think mappa’s style made much more sense for season 4 specifically since it’s so war heavy.

I am so glad I came across this explanation. I hate when the good guy turns bad and anime rarely gives an American standard happy ending. So halfway through season 1 I stopped watching it. But now I see he is a giant reset button or equalizer. It's a tragedy because he can only find peace in death. I will have to watch this with a tooth rotting sweet happy anime to balance my emotions. 😂

i will agree that mappa might have better “animation” but i loved the way wit animated 1-3 . it was more simple but its looked way more eye catching and unique, which made it stand out as attack on titan. the old characters in s4 didnt really feel like the same characters from s3. Wits animation was very saturated and colorful, with bright highlights in their eyes and bolder uneven size lines. s4 looked more bland and like a typical modern anime, it didnt feel like attack on titan. imo its like how new movies are more focused on realism instead of making them “unnatural” in a good way were its really unique, bright, and eye catching.

Yes he is justified! That’s why I laugh at people get angry at characters like Eren, The Yeagerists, Reiner and the Marleyean Warriors for killing innocent people even though we were shown that those characters literally had NO CHOICE!!! It’s like they ignore scenes of them being forced in a situation where they have to kill somebody or be killed themselves. Those people who preach about “morality” of all things and that “there always a choice” would’ve done the same exact things Eren and Reiner would’ve done. Guaranteed that those same people who are mad at Eren and Reiner would’ve done the same things that Eren and Reiner did if they was in the world of Attack On Titan.

When my mom and I finally got to watch all of season 4 in one go (because we refused to wait in-between breaks), we both came to the same conclusion that Marley's hatred towards the Eldians was mostly just a bunch of "he said, she said" propaganda and they were indoctrinated with this hatred for centuries. And you just can't change centuries worth of brainwashed baggage with simple diplomatic solutions. As far as Eren was concerned, diplomacy was thrown out the window the day they sent Bertholdt to kick a hole into Shinganshina. So, the Rumbling was the only solution they had left to end this bullshit once and for all.

I also hate to break it to you but anime is not meant to be watched in public. I thought the 4 hour thing for failing the quest was bs too, but at the same time i wasn't gullible enough to think he was actually sprinting the whole 4 hours. You said it also had no stakes and explained why but your reasoning is flawed. Yes he does get angry and it helps him overcome his limits but the same could be said for many anime. Obviously the series isn't going to have him die a few episodes in, so you know he will overcome it. The same goes with most anime.

Now we know that if Armin had been in charge instead of Eren it would have been the end of Eldians. I feel like both did things right and the fact that our issue was who's better when both are peak is a testament to the quality of the show. But I have to give the edge to wit. Their ODM scene are very easily the best scenes I've ever seen in anime asthetically. The eyes on the characters are beautiful too and the titans have that hand drawn amazing look. Tho the colossal looks much better in mappa's version. Overall I feel like Mappa's style fits the darker theme of the late show very well. So I'd pick wit but there's a lot of value to be found in mappa's animation too

Wit gave the show a more majestic look. Mappa made the show look like it lost its charm or appeal. Like the end of the world or something. Mappa even needed the guy that drew Levi fighting the Beast Titan in S3 to draw the ending scene where Levi dodges a bunch of things in the air to throw a thunder spear while Mikasa slices Eren’s head off.

Wit are not focusing in average frame while mappa does you but i prefer mappa art style as i like the consistent quality. About coloring and contrast overall i would choose wit but the 3rd frame of eren eyse in 3:06 i still choose mappa as it look more edgy and realistic and suit the vibe of cruel world and full of drepession as u can see in eren eyes, full of angry and no hope

Honestly I love wit, but I do like mappa more simply because wit just looks overall goofy and childish mappa captures the more intense aspects this show has to offer, not just in the artstyle but in the cinematographic point. If only they had more time

Zeke's plan could work in the following way , let me know if I'm wrong tho, The ackerman was a good point, but it is very very safe to assume that the founder is way stronger than ackerman blood, after all, when Eren made his announcement about war to the whole world ,even Levi was brought into the Path's world, So let's say the Ackerman gets Euthanized too So, Zeke will die in 1 year or less as he had beast for 12 years now, 13 is limit, Currently in the entire world there are only 3 Eldian with Royal Blood, Zeke,Historia,And the Child of historia born on day of Rumbling. We all know Founder's powers need Royal Blood to Unlock, So when you said the entire eldian race has to agree for this plan to work ,that isn't actually true Zeke dies in 1 year ,so he's out, remaining royal eldian in the world is 2 now. Zeke just needs to convince historia that , you keep the founder for 13, then let your baby keep the founder for 13 , thats 26, and after 26 both historia and the baby would die,cause curse of ymir, so there is no more royal blood, then the founder will randomly go to a Non Royal Eldian, cause there is literally no Royal blood eldian left. And without the royal blood, a common eldian guy(grisha) no matter holds the founder for how long ,cant really do shit, let alone Revert the euthinaztion. I hate what eren did but when I ask myself the question: My family dying Vs Everyone Else dies I would definitely choose the first without any hesitation. Similar to what Eren did, he decided wiping out the rest of humanity just to protect those he knew.

Its simple: wit studio was great but it took too much time and effort for them to do it so mappa was chosen to replace because they could animate in a shorter amount of time with the help of cgi, and less details, frames. They could do more in less time and thats what mattered for the bosses who wanted anime as fast as possible
