Have you tried Evoto? How would you compare it to Reblum

I have a Z9 and love the fact that they've put most of it into a smaller body. It gives me more options. Nikon should keep doing the best they can, not artificially limit some cameras to try and force their customers to spend more. In the long run Nikon shooters will be more loyal that way. I think a D500 equivalent in the Z mount would be great if they could keep the price down and make the AF excellent. If you could get the equivalent megapixels as a Z9 in DX mode, but for $2k like the original (cheaper than the Z6iii) and your wildlife lenses had 1.5x reach, so the 180-600 became a 270-900mm lens, that would be super popular. Hell, I'd even think about getting one instead of one of those PF lenses, switch bodies instead of lenses!

White teeth on these pictures will look bad. There is a golden glow over the whole photo. Even if you take the picture in golden hour, the teeth will not be white. They simply forget that the camera is the real view. Your eye will add a lot that is not there.

Used a couple AD200's for one of my VOGUE shoots. Never heated up.

Great video I had no idea the corded versions of the Godox lights were this low priced... FYI you can use ND gel to bring the power down, it's dirt cheap.

Thanks for the comparison. I am tossing up between the Z8 and the Z6iii, but it will be 90% video, 10% stills, and 4k is as far as I can see myself needing to go at this time. I currently shoot a D800 and a D850, and do love the increased ability to "crop-zoom" with the higher D850's resolution, but have found it a bit finicky in terms of focus at times compared with the D800. It appears the higher resolution of the Z8 does not have the same issue compared to the Z6iii when it comes to images, so now it's just down to picking which one feels better in my hands I guess - I do love the larger D850 body compared to my old D7000, so I think that may be the deciding factor

Hey... Help me. I'm a Canon user I have a Dslr and I made this lens but now it's a MACRO lens. How to fix that?

One thing I’ve learned doing photography is you never stop learning. Off camera flash photography is one of my weakness as I don’t use it very much but sometimes I do during events and such with no light. Sometimes it’s better to do things “your way” if it means getting the best results. I sometimes get stuck on doing things the correct way and it may not be what the client wants or vice versa. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m starting to just go with natural instincts and just do what I prefer might be best and let the chips fall where they may. Great video btw

Two things... You did not show any examples with the bare bulb head(with a reflector), and WHY did you over expose the pictures when using the ring light as a fill light... About 2(or more) stops less and they would have lost all that 'flash' look!

Your content is "Art"! And as artists we are not paid for our labor/technique but for our vision. I've also had to deal with wierdos like the one you mentioned here. It's just envy. I for one think your work is fantabulous! I just happened to come across your videos when I googled Godox, lol. It confirms what I've always thought about it being about the artist not the equipment.

When you set up for the shoot, was there any consideration given to the direction of the flash in relation to the direction of the sun?

I've been a sport and concert photographer for a long while and am taking my first baby step into the portrait world. In fact, I just had the first person in my newly setup home studio last week. I'd like to thank you for this video. One of my ideas to practice is to take a portable backdrop and maybe a strobe or two with modifers into our local senior center to offer free portraits. They say you need ten thousand hours to be good at something and I would consider it a nice way to start.

I think photographers are just being greedy you have the shots you got paid now you can just give the raw photos its not like it's extra work for you

This was all cons no pros, maybe you were at fault, after all it's a bad workman that blames his tools, when in fact the workman hasn't taken the time or trouble to learn how to use his tools,. OK it's not for you, but at least review it with a point of view for what it's intended for, one man's poison is another man's sugar.

how it possibly could be use with AD 200 Pro? any thoughts?

Just Purchased this Trigger and didn’t know this , however most people using it will only be shooting with a max of 3 flashes anyway . You add anymore it would be for special lighting effects , and you would want to manually Control it anyway

I love my godox strobes. I started out with one ad200. Learn how to use it and when I was finally limited on real sunny days because I was not using an ND filter, I bought another ad200, and the dual head adapter where you can connect both of them and get 400 W. I then picked up the original ad600 and I really loved having that much power if I needed it. I would only use the ad200’s for backlighting. I picked up another ad600 and I use them for my main 2 light set up. I bought all of these strobes during Black Friday sales for so much less than what they retail for. And then the one black Friday they had the ad300 pro for $350 so I picked one of them up and it is a nice versatile light that is compact and if you’re going for a light set up, I would highly recommend it. I am totally invested into godox and have 2 V1’s, 2 ad200’s, 1 ad300 pro, 2 ad600’s, and the ad1200 pro which I use for my sports action shots. I’ve been using the same batteries for the past five years and I have yet to have one fail on me.

this is not a big deal... at all! I only ever used TTL as a starting point for my key light when I dont have a light meter on hand. No need to have TTL on other strobes, but thats me. Not a deal breaker at all

Bro, I have a question… if the HSS is enabled in the trigger and we are shooting below the HSS speed say 1/160 .. Do we get HSS strobe flash light or Normal Flash light ????

definitely want to try one of these, but i may build my own since i'm using micro4/3rds. the photos look good, definitely not 1:1 with film, but it looks like a fun lens.

I dont like to think that the battery die forever and you cant change for a fresh ones... like in one of those new mics: the battery dies, the equipment die.

Great analysis. That 50 1.8s might be the best lens I have ever used. I recently switched to Nikon and got the Zf with the 50 & 40mm f2. I picked up a few G lenses to replace my most used lenses such as the 85 1.8 G and after using that 50 1.8 I shot almost all of my portraits on that lens even though it isn't my favorite focal length. The images almost have that 3D pop with them. Besides the glass though how much difference do you think the Z mount itself looks better than adapted lenses? Even my non S lenses in Z mount seem to look better than the G mount lenses.
