tbh I've also been in a reading slump when it comes to books for a few years, but then I started reading manga and I've been enjoying myself a lot with them. I think I'm also just so burned out from books due to studying so much in Uni, but things like manga and hell, even fanfiction, is a joy to read for some reason

Also, One Dark Window is fantastic and the sequel is even better. It's got everything. Total page-turner.

I feel for you and your reading slump, I hope you find something to get you out of it. I think that what i usually do is do a reread of a favourite and that most often gets me going again. Interesting that you didn't like Emma, it seems so popular and I love when someone has a deviating opionion about a popular book. I love used books. I love giving love to someones unhauled books.

I have just finished annotating my first book, it was chaotic. I def, need to clean up my annotating, but I appreciate that it is a journey. I do this solely for my self, for having fun and for healing my inner child that was forbidden to even do the slightest dog ear in a book.

Okay, I agree with your views on this book, except the hair color. I have a friend who has dark hair, and her husband has red hair and their kids both have very blonde hair. The kids have their dad's sister's hair. And before you say anything, they are definitely his kids, they look exactly like him apart from the hair, so it is possible to have different hair than their parents.

The Cruel Prince series is a lot. Not in terms of complexity or world building... Or character development. But it's bleak and frustrating. It's easy to get sucked in, but I didn't often enjoy myself when I was there. If that makes any sense. You definitely need to be in the right mood for that series.

I like the added challenge for the odd numbers. Also this looks like such a good tbr I hope you enjoy them all

im sad to admit im in a massive reading slump rn, so i`ve not continued on with the count since i reached chapter 3 💔💔

i have some of the transparent sticky notes, and it turns out they only really work with ballpoint pens and pencils, which was a bit of a bummer because i only really use gel pens to make notes. however, i definitely think that they'd be useful for those that don't want to write in their books and don't want to block the pages with the paper ones!! i guess it depends on the person. great video!! <3 :)
