Never listened to Dylan as a youth but know a lot of his songs from other artists that interpreted them. Saw the movie A Complete Unknown 3 times in the past week in cinema. Now I like him very much.

After seeing the movie, I can understand why they booed the song. This was supposed to be a festival of gentle understanding but this song was pretty hardcore. And I equally understand. Bob Dylan refusing to be the artist that his managers demanded, to be somebody else.

I was there with my friends. it was incredible. He was not going to work for the man anymore but for himself and write and play what he wanted to...This was the statement as well as brilliant musical turn.

People forget had it not been for Clapton and the Bluesbreakers album, which came out around the same time as this performance, Mike Bloomfield would be considered the iconic guitarist of the time. He did an excellent version of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Killing Floor” with Buddy Miles, who played for Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys. Not only did Dylan go electric: he did it with one of the best electric guitarists America produced. If you listen to this performance, you hear so much of the type of phrasing you hear in future rock and roll guitar.

The whole folk scene and the fans were super pretentious lol, the original hipsters. Im glad dylan switched and did his thing instead of sticking with one genre of music for the rest of his life.

Watching as many clips of Dylan as I can before the film hits the UK. I want this imprinted on my brain before the Hollywood take. And that guitar guy...wow. That rampant blues guitar style is what the British heavy metal scene was built on.

I just came from watching the movie with Chalamet…I highly recommend it! He and the whole cast did a brilliant job 👏👏Wonderful cast and acting . Bravo, and Feliz Navidad 2034! 🎄

Wow. Priceless, unsurpassably magnificent. Joan’s harmonizing saved Bob’s style unpolished voice. (And to all the critics of Bob’s voice: it was amazing and original and it improved for a number of years: Joan’s was just beautiful in an unearthly way…no other female singer ever compared.) the epitome of the zeitgeist of an era that we’ll never see again.

I don't know how many times I've watched this concert on RUclips. It's very captivating, everything about it is incredible. It's one of Paul's best phases, where his vocals are surreal. The ‘Rock Show’ is wonderful. I have the ‘Wings Over America’ LP and I'm also listening to it now on Alexa by coincidence. They’re so good! One of my favorite parts of this concert is when he sings “call me back again”, his voice is not only incredible, but the whole song is good. The part where he says “I called your name, JOHN. every nught since then…” is spine-chilling. just LOVE IT! and I wonder what John's reaction about it
