To depend only on plant is difficult for our survival. Our diet has to be diverse so we can survive easily in the face of adversity. Plus eating meat gives us more energy/calories to work, it allows us to work better to survive in this harsh world. It is nature of life to eat life to survive. Killing a chicken is not equivalent to killing a human, eating meat is never cannibalism. It is just nature of life to eat the meat of other species. A fish eats a smaller fish, Birds eating worms, Lions eating deers, Sharks eating sea lions, snakes eating rats & the list goes on and on. IT IS NATURE OF LIFE. Dear vegans stop being too obsessed with your ideology, respect life the way it is. Do not try to change it to your own idea of life. At the same time I do not encourage too much of meat consumption. All sounds reasonable enough, but it doesn't do what the movement doesn't do, which is & calculate & account for the damaging or counter-productive effect of bad activism. Too many counter-productive excesses, & repetition of outdated or failed strategies is excused, & defended on the ground of "doing it for the animals", a scenario made much worse by the conversion of activism into personal income stream via social media, & exploiting vegans for money. What it's doing to warping activism into what serves the camera best, as in makes the most money via patreon, rather than what serves the cause best; & is dividing the movement into factions, according to which influencer or group individuals adhere to.
