Very good track guide as always! Only part confused me hardly - I was 100% sure that it is easy flat but you are braking here... So does that mean that my exit out of t3 is terrible and it should not be possible to get through t4 flat out or you are braking for some another reason?

If in doubt take a late apex 😅

Wish people in the rookie class knew how to driver better. When your first starting out they constantly crash into you, even when they are laps behind. So annoying. It’s almost like you should just go slow so you can completely avoid the morons.

why are you using temps 10 degrees less than what the temps will be in race?

It's also how your eyes are developed. Your car is generally moving where you are looking at. If you look too far ahead people drift into the middle of the road and tend to hit the apex too early. If they don't look far enough they tend to apex too late or hit the apex too slow. To develop a good eye you need a car that's slow enough so you get enough time in the tricky parts of the track to think about how you drive.

when talking about maggots and becketts. you mentioned possibly not needing the brake to rotate. In my mind if someone is able to rotate without braking doesn't that mean they are not carrying enough speed into the corner?

So take the best line for the upcoming corner or few corners and not go wide all the time just for the sake of it. I kinda understood it this week while learning Navarra, all the fast drivers were taking T1 without going all the way to left, which made setting up t2 and t3 much easier. Thanks, but trail braking makes you turn in a V shape, so in many cases you do turn diagonally into the apex as you trail brake. I get your point, I just think many people will not understand what you said because they will think they need to always break in a straight line more instead of taking advantag of trail braking and turning in earlier

The pit exit on this track is treacherous!

1:42:9 is my best... really struggling to get everything out of the M4 here. The McLaren & Porsche seem so much easier to go fast around here.
