This is such a great staple to have in your kitchen. Make your own Veggie Stock Paste and keep it in the freezer. It will not freeze solid due to the salt content so will therefore last for months, and you just use it as you need.

I find the peeler peeled away half of my potato, do you think so?
Hey @saiwingyau6414 - the Thermomix will default to 4mins but I usually only do about 2mins. Stop it and check the potatoes and if needs be, let it go for a little longer. Hope this helps
Thank you for that. Once peeled and cover with oil in the fridge. How long will it keep?
@louvassie4610 absolute pleasure. In the fridge for 7 days, but I keep mine in the freezer. Freeze as a single layer on a tray and then once frozen I keep them in a jar to use as needed 🥰
What a waste of my time.
Thank you:)
It would be nice if you would show more of what you're actually doing with your hands and the Thermomix display 🙈
@anabo3836 what would you like to know in particular? What questions are you still unsure of?
Thanks a lot. Everything is very clear.
Can you use carrots, celery etc?
Yes absolutely! It's really easy! You just have to know how… simply blend the fruit and vegetables with a handful of ice or a piece of frozen fruit and 50g of water on speed 9 for 30 seconds. Then set speed to 9 and pour additional water slowly over the MC (over approx. 40 seconds) and leave to blend for a total of 2 minutes to achieve a smooth silky texture. For more fibrous vegetables you’ll need more water (like carrots), whereas for less fibrous vegetables (like cucumbers) you’ll need a lot less. Start with a little bit (maybe 100g) and keep adding until desired consistency is achieved. Hope this helps
Thanks everso much & for the clear explanation - whole new world of adventure 😊 x
@@julieellis-davies3717 absolute pleasure. Enjoy!
Does this applicable for baby items such as bottles, pacifiers, milk collectors?
@nurabd8815 yes if your item is safe to be steamed, it can be sterilised this way using the Varoma. I hope this helps :)
Where can I buy that pump?
I have watched so many Thermomix videos and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this one, I love your personality, you shine Jesus ❤ thank you for a lovely recipie. PS where can we find this? Is it on cookidoo? I'm receiving my first Thermomix in a few days 🎉 lots of love from SA 🇿🇦
Should I do this technique for the pull apart rolls also?
Thank you for tip.
So helpful, easy to follow and much appreciated 🙏 Thank you heaps ❤
Thank you for your time & sharing, would this go well in the Sour Cream & Chicken Enchiladas ?
500 ml water 20 min varoma speed 1
I'm dying for cookidoo to do a filter for allergens or dietary restrictions so i don't have to put -pork -dairy -wheat -sugar in front of every single search 😅😅😅😅😅
Ohhh I completely agree!! I do tend to just adjust all my recipes to suit us though and substitute with what I can have eg rice flour for wheat, chicken for pork etc, just so I see all the recipes xx
Very much enjoyed your video on veg stock making. I followed through and made it as well. Good use of extra veg. As a new user of thermomix, I wonder if you have ever made almond flour pie crusts. I follow a keto diet and would like to make a dessert with an almond pie crust but not sure how to do iton the thermie.
Thank you. That was brilliant!
My absolute pleasure. Glad it helped 😊
Very good at e explaining , thank you
My absolute pleasure
Thank you! ❤
My absolute pleasure! I hope it helps
I noticed you said you used reverse on the onions for both times. Is that why they turned out mushy both times
So much hassle for such little garlic 😅
Thank you for a very informative video. My thermomix arrived this morning and your video has been very helpful to get me started.
My absolute pleasure. Congratulations and enjoy!!
Can you zest a lemon or a lime using the peeler function? Could you demonstrate this?
Hi Gary - great question. I wouldn't recommend it as you need to add water to the function and it wouldn't be very nice zest.
So informative 👏👏
Hope it helps 😊
Pity, the alarm is too quiet , i use my ipad for timing
Timely comment! 😊 They're actually about to roll out a change to the volume 😁
Amazing Who would have thought
It's such a timesaver 😁
That is so cool!!
It's such an awesome attachment ♥️
I’ve just ordered a TM6 and am particularly keen to use it to peel garlic: A couple of weeks ago I bought 6 heads of garlic because .I wanted to try making a garlic confit. Well, after struggling to peel a couple of heads I gave up the idea of garlic confit.😀 BTW, your effervescent personality made the video clip immensely enjoyable, as well as informative of course. Thank you
Ohh my absolute pleasure. Congratulations on your TM6! So exciting 😁😁 Peeling Garlic will never be the same 😁🥰
Thank you this is great! Is there a way to change to metric if you choose a US recipe?
Absolute pleasure 😊 If you choose a US recipe, the TM6 will automatically display and weigh in pounds & ounces
What an amazing product.
It's such a timesaver!
Hello, that was super helpful. However on my whisk attachment it doesn’t feel as though it’s really that secure sitting on the blades. Is there a nack to it? Or is it meant to be quite free. When removing its feels too easy, literally resting on the blazed rather than snapped in or secured in some way. Please help thanks! Xx
Hi there - I'm glad it helped 😊 Yes the whisk just sits fairly loosely on the top of the blades. You can give it a slight turn backwards and it does tend to lightly lock in. It won't click in or feel locked in though ... but it won't come out either 😊
Navel oranges, here I come. 😁
It's sooo delicious! Enjoy!
Can you leave peel on oranges ? Thanks
@@jennifergiordanoimbroll1551 you could but ot would be quite bitter. I would recommend peeling them first 😊
@@ThermomixingwithSophia thank you. Just love your videos. All very well explained. (Malta)
@@jennifergiordanoimbroll1551 my absolute pleasure x
Taste amazing!!!
Hi Sophia, thanks for the video. We need recipes to be more liquid for our disabled son - can we add some stock to this recipe? John & Josie Russell
You will be able to blitz up anything you make. If you have the TM6 use the blending mode to do this, or you can start at speed 5 and gradually increase to speed 8 or higher if you prefer. Be mindful of not going over the Max line in the bowl. Hope this helps
What a great tip!
Proper video m8; blunt knuckle ftw
Aww thanks @croftmaster69 :)
I don't have a thermomix travel bag. How do I protect the scales when transporting my thermomix in the car?
Great question. :) Always put your Thermomix in Transportation Mode and then when you are putting it in the car, buckle it into the seatbelt to ensure it is secure whilst you are travelling. Hope this helps
Thanks for video. What about if I take plane? I can’t keep blades on . If the transportation mode is working without blades on?

@@ThermomixingwithSophia great, I have one of those, thank you

great video. i have just made onion chutney in my new thermomix and wondered how best to clean the bottom. its all brown and stained ?
Thank you for your lovely comment 😊 I've also got a video on how to clean your bowl easily, when you happen to burn it. Hope that helps x
This is usefull if you listen to what is said. Put the whisk on the blunt side of the knuckle blade. DO NOT place as shown in the video, as the video is BACK TO FRONT! Thanks for the video though!
My bowl gets a thrashing as I use it daily .. I tried the egg shells but didn’t still get it all :/ on the first week of purchase I did butter chicken and the whole thing stained yellow from the turmeric and it’s never really polished up since. Considering buying a second bowl but won’t be using a lot of turmeric this time
Try using white vinegar. This will be your friend! ❤️ I love turmeric but yes it stains! Soak your lid and bowl with white vinegar and then clean. If the lid is still stained and you'd like it back to clear, you can leave it in the sun for a little while too
@@ThermomixingwithSophia awesome thanks for the quickest response ever! Yes White vinegar is already my friend... I tried but I didn’t try the sun. Good idea. I will try when winter has passed on in Tasmania 😊Thankyou for all the helpful content too. I get my new blade cover/peeler tomorrow
@@tombstone7577 ohh you'll LOVE it!! ❤️ It's so awesome!
@@tombstone7577 also you just need the sun (once it pops out) not necessarily heat x
Much rather this with whole milk?
You absolutely can make this with whole milk and it's amazing ❤️
@@ThermomixingwithSophia yay we get milk fresh so i shall try
Hi is the oven fan forced 180 ?
Mine is fan-forced but it's quite large. I'd recommend testing it and watching it for your first batch ❤️
Glad I found your video. I'm new to the TMX game and this is just what I needed to see. Thank you so much.
I'm so glad it helped 🥰 If you're on Facebook or Instagram by chance, I share lots of hints and tips on there too 😊 facebook.com/ourfoodieadventures
