Having finally undergone the spinal surgery I had been waiting for for he past 11 months, and now beginning the slow start to recovery, I now find myself itching to get going and attempt as soon possible to follow in your footsteps. But first on my bucket list is Devil's Bridge in Wales, which I spotted in a TV programme I watched recently, and wondered if you have ever travelled to that part of the world. Being from Bergen I experience again and again while walking at night women tend to pick up their pace when I happen to walk behind them in the same direction. I find it very rude, so I have fun with it and increase my pace until they start running.

Been living in Bergen for many years now. Yeah the city is very safe in general. Propably one of the safest cities in Europe. There was a muslim mass stabbing attack like a year ago. But it is extremely rare. I would say that all cities in Norway are very safe except for Oslo where stabbings and rapes have suddenly become more common from the muslim populations

Another great video, another work of art. Edinburgh has been on l my list for a long time, and after watching this it's made me even more determined to visit. The shop advertising single malt whisky tasting is a great idea, and as for whisky scented candles, I would love have a sniff of them. The old town in particular really appeals to me, and seeing Greyfriars Bobby's statue too. As usual, come next Sunday, I shall be eagerly your next video. Thank you again for brightening up my day.

Wow!! Just wow!! City of my birth and where I was a student for a year in the swinging sixties!! Saw a "new" rock and roll band called the Rolling Stones in concert 😮 And so much to see - where do you begin. Maybe the Heart of Midlothian outside St Giles? Bow bar in Victoria Street - old school. The Meadows - another open green space which can lead you past the Golf Tavern to Morningside - the "posh" part of the city. I'm sorry - I should stop - but I get so enthusiastic about this beautiful place . I will watch again - thank you - and excellent music as always.

Another wonderful video, yet another place for my bucket list. The whole area there looks so natural, I bet it would b great for camping there too. I've not seen any of the Harry Potter films, so wouldn't recognise some of the places, so will have to borrow the series from my son. What exactly is a veggie full English breakfast, which I'm sure I heard you mention early on? Another thing you mentioned were the midges and how gin and tonic helps keep them off. On my trips to Scotland, I've only ever had whisky so wouldn't know about that. But I must admit that on none of my trips there did I ever come across midges so I guess I was lucky. As always I've added this video to my ever-growing collection of your wonderful work. Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm on my feet again and can visit some of these wonderful places that you've shown us.

In the Glenfinnan train station there is a museum dedicated to Sir Robert McAlpine, born in Motherwell, who built, among other things, the Glenfinnan viaduct, just part of the railway from Fort William to Mallaig. It gave the story of his life, starting with working in mines when he was 7. I found it all very interesting. What a man!

Sorry your September was not good. I was mostly in Belfast - a city I TOTALLY recommend to you. I think you would enjoy the vibrant atmosphere- also, of course, home - apparently- of Game of Thrones - which I have never seen. Good vibes for October.

George was doing a film shot in the streets of our village for the magazine Vanity Fair, and after finishing he made himself available to anyone who wanted to have their photo taken with him. It was such a nice gesture from such a famous star.

Also with villas on Lake Como are Michael O'leary of Ryan Air, the Guiness family, and Virgin boss Richard Branson.

I just got back from one of your recommendations a few days ago, Copenhagen. Very nice and very walkable. Surprisingly, not as expensive as I thought it would be. The only downside was that the Tivoli Gardens were closed while they are redecorating. Gives me an excuse to go back 😄
