Not sure how your set up is if I am seeing your set up correctly you have two wires going the back if so you have to clamp both wires to see the amperage draw at your alternator other than that you’re only seeing half.

Do not run a damn agm with lithium they both have different discharge rates you will burn the post off the agm

is this worth it to push a 2000 watt amp i ask because i know with stock electrical its not bushing 2000watts , if yes any recommendations on what bank i need

I have a 2010 escape. I am running 3 NOS, BNIB ppi PCX amps from early 2000’s that I have been saving. They are A/B. My bass amp is a pcx2400 for 2 15’s, and my mid’s amp is a pcx4125 and my tweeter amp is a pcx480. I am in the process of getting a 300 amp alt. Due to my age, I don’t push the bass over 135 Db’s for more than 15 minutes at a time, that’s all I can take anymore. I did the big 3 and have multiple runs of 1/0 wire from front alt and front Batt to the rear. What do you recommend for my power storage? I can handle $400 comfortably and $600 uncomfortably, wife will have me on the couch at $600. And if I need to in the distant future, I may get a class D 3000 or 4000 watt amp.

I feel like it’s going to pull from whatever has the highest C rate first. What do you think? I’m talking about while doing a burp or planing music. Not talking about while resting.

I'm gonna pick up the Klein AC/DC clamp meter at home Depot tomorrow to try this on my SIA-3500D! I also wanna try it on individual power wires ie battery, supercap bank, alternator supply, etc. I can't sleep at night not knowing whether or not I'm making above rated power! lol

Stupidest thing I have seen in a long long time. I am a qualified electronics engineerspecialising in battery systems and paralleling Lithium and AGM is a potential for disaster. They both have very different charging requirements, different internal impedances, and worse of all there is a very real risk of fire in what you are doing.

I don't use my batteries for audio but I have 5 batteries in my Explorer 2 under the hood and three behind the seats 1 is a deep cycle and one is small starting battery stock alternator 130 amps I guess Starts right up no matter how many days I let it sit and I have an Inverter I never shut off that keeps cordless batteries charged . No Special ad ons no fuses no isolator it works fine . been doing that over three years . The Three behind the seats are even wrecking yard car batteries I plan on upgrading to Deep Cycle or maybe toss in one Lithium battery .

is there a such thing as too much battery ? i got a deal on a 100ah limitless lithium, which is going to be overkill on my setup, can that affect the electrical system in a negative way ?

My Mazda CX-5 only has a 100Amp alternator and installing a 64 amp/hr headway, was probably going to run the car and accessories off the factory lead acid and have an isolator for the headway, gonna run probably1200w/RMS (100Amp) for subs and another 600w/4 RMS (50Amp) and 300w/4 RMS (40Amp) for doors/dash speakers… I understand the hard coded ECU has problems with upgraded high cap alternator am I going to have power/charging issues?

Biggest struggle is likely how far the battery is from the starter. Lotta wire in between, I bet it have done much better under the hood.

You can wire up a battery hookup lithium heating pad to kick on an heat the bank up either when started or it can use the banks own power to heat itself. I recommend building a small connecting 18650 battery pack or 21700 cells an create a small pack in the bsck you can charge whenever take in an ojt of the car in the winter. Amazon controller is like $15 for 6 controlelrs!! Yiu cant beat it. Yes you may notice an immediate difference but keep starting is sub zero temos will cause damage to the cells over time especially such a small bank taking that much amperage pull
