It's super useful! Harpoon lines are also the only way you can sprint while carrying things. Even chests and other large items won't prevent you from sprinting while you're on a tightrope. Just be ready for the balance to be a lot more touchy than it is while walking along it.

I can't tell you where it came from. I only started playing on Steam after the PS5 release several months ago, since my friend got it then and wanted to play with me. I still see it mentioned whenever the topic of repairs comes up on popular videos with a lot of comments, so I wanted to help clarify how it works.

Cannon balls did not always deal different damage types. It used to be you had one cannon ball and one hole size The myth probably sprung up by people not understanding the new more complex system.

@@ryo-kai8587wow thank you so much, I honestly believed this for the longest time. repairing was one of my main priorities when solo hourglassing, good to know that I don’t have to worry as much about patched tier 3 holes reopening.

@@gdrad not really. Again, I'm not trying to be mean at all, but there is definitley visual clarity to it. Try looking at each of the three tiers side by side. The amount of splintered wood around the hole is vastly different. Tier 1 has almost none. Tier 2 has some. And Tier 3 has a lot. A significant amount more than Tier 2

it's more of being used to other games leaving aid for damages, only for it to not heal/repair it completely

Thanks! Whether or not it's actually effective in practice remains to be seen. If they can just DP or react the same way they normally would it won't help too much. Either way though, it lets you combo even if your alignment is a little weird or you're not using a traditional cross-up attack. If they're at all expecting it though, it seems like it would be super punishable

@@Sim-ys7cr Honestly it's not too hard. Just to install mods made by others, all the information and necessary mod dependencies are all clearly listed in the descriptions on Nexus. I used the Mod Enabler which allows the mods to work, then just poked around and found the combination of mods I like. I then followed the instructions for what folder to put the mods in, etc. With the mod enabler, you can even hotload mods while the game is running by pressing F10 to refresh the meshes in real-time.

@@Sim-ys7cr I always use Steam, so that's the only platform I've tried it on. Especially if you can get a decent deal on the game, I'd recommend just doing that.

The rest of the run actually wasn't super great. Still going for 6 stars actually, just a lot of opportunities to miss little things throughout the song. I was grinding out the intro and that's how I got this. You know how that goes, there could be crazy hard solos where you miss tons of notes, but if you're super consistent on the rhythm parts you can often get 6 stars easy. Whereas if the alt strum or fingering patterns are just a little awkward and keep tripping you up, you could end up with 5 stars but a really high percentage. Think I'm at 94% right now. @@truong8199 You got this! It's not too complex of a song, really. The intro thing is slightly awkward but not bad, and my interpretation of the bass break with harmony has a few fun 2-note chords. Once again, not too hard. The trickiest part is probably keeping your 4/4 timing on the intro riff during the break where the drums change up and play a different beat.

yeah its a varial double flip, as apposed to a day dream flip which is a vairal double heel, chris chan also did a switch nightmare a few years back and called it something else

So an orb will appear in the center. If the next orb is the same color as the center reference orb, you shoot it for points. If it's a different color, *do not shoot it* and you get points. After that a new reference orb appears in the center and you repeat. Essentially, if it matches the center color, it's an enemy, and if it doesn't match it's a civilian. A classic test of quick thinking and reaction - decide whether or not to shoot very rapidly accurately.

Actually this WAS Crimson Desert, back before the private server got shut down for having the same name as PA's new IP. CDO had been around for a while before the announcement, but of course they lost. And yeah, my AP is very low here - didn't even have all my skills haha. Also yeah, the game is utterly gorgeous :D
