And then they thought: "Oh, matches are getting too long and physical. Let's make everything Bo3 and add match tie breaks." And that's how now every player has the same boring ass "modern tennis" baseliner style and we've made sport boring AF with the exception of Alcaraz and a couple others who actually go to the net and do different stuff.

Agassi was definitely afraid of Sampras. He had this eternal complex. That is why he couldn’t play his game especially in latest meetings. He mentally lost. Plus of course Pete was a much better player (serve, forehand, backhand, volley, everything). Look at the game with Federer very same season on grass, how the latter illuminated Sampras where he was almost unbeatable through decades…

I don't think people realize how big a loss this was for Federer context wise. A win would have resulted in 6 straight USO titles and more importantly Roger would have held all 4 majors at once assuming he won the 2010 AO. (09 FO, 09 WM, 09 USO, 10 AO etc...)
