      Crying is the 1st emotions one expresses at Birth. Our creator above hears our 1st cry. Our Mother Earth hears our 1st cry. When we pray, we thank the Creator and Mother Earth 1st. When we die, we go bck to Mother Earth who embraces us once more.

      Meh, my community doesn't enforce rules like that say if you're out in the middle of a city and need to smudge. If you need to smudge, just do it! LoL Its like trying to say you need to use a Paua/abalone Shell for it to be sacred. That was introduced by crazy New Age hippies that sell services they have no rights to. ;)

Do yourself a favor and when a helping word of free advice comes around, dont pass it up and try to be grateful. Just a wild guess but im pretty sure there arent many willing to help you out. There's definitely a reason for that. And youre still at the stage that youre proud of yourself.

      HAVING "JESUS" IN YOUR HEART & SOUL IS THE KEY, THE (INDIANS) ARE SMARTER THEN ANY OTHER PEOPLE ON EARTH, BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE THE (LORD), & HE HAS LEAD THEM, AS WE ALL SHOULD!! SALVATION IS YOUR LEADER OF THE HEART & SOUL, PLEASE GET YOUR PEACE WITH "GOD", ASK FORGIVENESS & ASK HIM TO COME INTO YOUR HEART, YOU WILL BE A BETTER HUMAN BEING, & A SAVED ONE, BECAUSE YOU WILL HOLD "GODS" HOLY SPIRIT!!
      GET SAVED & BAPTISTED..WASHING AWAY THE OLD LOST BODY & SOUL & WILL COME UP A NEW SAVED SOUL, "WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB"!!
      AS HALF INDIAN & HALF IRISH, I AM LOVED BY MY LORD AS ALL OF US ARE, BUT "GOD" GIVES US A CHOICE, & THANKFUL I GREW UP IN CHURCH, I HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED & SAVED SINCE I WAS 16 YEARS OLD!! I AM PRAYING FOR YOU DEAR, GOD LOVES YOU, & HE KNEW YOU IN THE WOMB.. NONE OF US ARE PERFECT, WE WILL NEVER BE, BUT THAT'S WHY "JESUS" DIED ON THE CROSS, HE PAID OUR SIN DEDT IN FULL, THAT WE COULD SPEND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN WITH HIM, IF WE WILL TURN OUR HEARTS & LIVES OVER TO HIM, THEN SATAN CAN'T TOUCH US! IF WE DON'T EXCEPT "JESUS" , & WE CHOOSE SATAN, WE WILL LIVE ETERNITY IN HELL FIRE!!
      SONG..
      "THANK GOD I AM "FREE", "FREE", "FREE" FROM THIS WORLD OF SIN, WASH IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS, I'VE BEEN BORN AGAIN.... HALLELUJAH, I'M "SAVED", "SAVED", "SAVED", BY HIS WONDERFUL GRACE, I'M SO GLAD THAT I FOUND OUT & HE WOULD BRING ME OUT & SHOW ME THE WAY.....

    Wow, I couldn't help but cry to this... when he started talking about the sage, and how they consider it a living thing, and how you speak to it and tell it your intentions, and thank it. Then to actually give something back to the earth, (a give, receieve relationship, I take care of you, you take care of me, you wash my back, I wash your back.) God that's so deep. It just showed me how disconnected we've become, and how we really need to get back on that level. GO HUG A TREE BITCHS! Or maybe just go camping on the weekends.... :) Interestingly enough, this earth is a living organism that is a conscious being, with full and complete awareness of itself, and is capable of response to stimuli. Maybe there's actually something behind what some would call woo woo "hippie philosophy".

    • @yoggerzzz
      @yoggerzzz 10 лет назад +10

      That is a common perception in almost every indigenous practices, including European. But it's always nice to see this kind of thing in a world that always seems so disconnected.

    This story really hits me. My grandmother was Native American and her father migrated here from central Mexico. I come from a very broken family both my parents are addicts and my mother has never really opened up to me about her life growing up. I have some memories of my grandmother and my great grandfather. Unfortunately, she passed away 4 years ago before my son was born so I never really got to talk to her about her heritage. However; I moved to North Dakota when I was 21 and I lived on a reservation for about 2-3 years and I have to say that, it was life changing for me. I seen all walks of life while I was there. I learned so much and experienced so many things good and bad and it really opened my eyes to so many things. The energy in these places is so powerful that it is common for negative energies to grab onto you. Some of my craziest stories come from living on a reservation. But all in all I met some of the most amazing people and experienced a culture that I would have otherwise known nothing about and I’m very thankful. Til this day I still use the teachings I was taught, and even gift sage or other plants that I find to people who I feel could use it. I’m forever grateful for the kindness and wisdom that I received while I was there. It’s truly beautiful. ♥️

Thank you for sharing your story 🙏🏽 I was just searching for sage bundle information and couldn’t skip this video when I saw the Native American speaking about it. Big love ❤️❤️❤️

      You can find ceremonial white sagebrush on the Continental Divide in the spring about June is the best because it is growing and is tender, full of oil. Remember to bless and thank the sage before you pick. Give back what you take. Tobacco or living water. Pick in the morning just as the dew has almost left. Montana, Idaho and Colorado, is where it is abundant. Large sage is a sign of good soil and good grasses. Short sage soil is not growing as fast, pass it by. Hope that helps you in your quest for healing and vitality.

    First learned from a young Navajo man, carried a small bundle. We all had bad stomachs from some water in Sycamore Canyon, Arizona. One was too sick to get out of the van and see the Grand Canyon. We picked him up, his grandmother and sister, heading toward the Rez. He gave us each some to chew. We all got better soon. Having stomach issues from painkillers and remembered how much it helped, many times after that. My son brought me back some from Nevada, without being asked. Just telepathy. Thanks. See you on FB, where i can tell the rest of the story.

    I'm so blessed to be surrounded by land that provides this sacred plant naturally. I grew my own last year which was amazing, those plants were buddies and we built a bond lol but.. there's something so special about harvesting naturally , provided by the land on its own.

    My boyfriend grew white sage in his container garden this year. It is SO much stronger than regular sage. It actually is somewhat sticky from all the white crystals on it. It is still alive too even in the middle of November :) I would love to try smudging the house with it.

    It is said that it's never too late to learn. I am in the learning stage of reclaiming my heritage from 2 continents,here and Africa. I know that both teach respect for nature and each other. And to live in harmony with the earth.
