For my camera there was only a wire which was disconnected, so it was easy to fix and frankly I don't know how to fix if it was a major problem. I suggest you search for videos related to that.
Bro it was just by luck that there was no major issue with the camera. Basically i wanted to convey that if you are going to throw away such things just try to repair it, who knows maybe it might get fixed. If you really need it to get repaired show it to a repair expert near you
