@@icarogois7116 maybe when just playing it. having to focus on singing AND playing has to be at least a little challenging though. and this is coming from a guitarist
@@thatbedroomguitarist3522 yeah I know but if you pay attention this song when he's singing there's nothing really challenging. The hardest parts he's not doing vocals. I guess this song specifically should not be a problem at all for him to play and sing at the same time. I'm talking just about this song specifically, don't get me wrong. There are songs from orbit culture harder than this one to sing and play at the same time for sure. And I'm sure as hell not saying something like Niklas doesn't do hard stuff and sing at the same time cos he does but not in this song. He's a monster one of my favorite guitarists/vocalists/songwriters today.

Such power in what might seem simplistic in terms of riffs. Complexity doesn't always yield best results. This song shows how the riffs compliment the song. Epic.
OMG OMG OMG... I don't know what to say... this is the best masterpiece ever, like everything you create ! Futur of metal ! Guys, you are a revolution !

Such a good song of Shaman! Good to know from the interview with This Day In Metal that Fredrik has written a part for the new Orbit Culture album + Orbit Culture got 3 confirmed American shows (Niklas told in The Jasta Show). Check the OC fb-group and discord
dude it's crazy, if you take out the extra note in that riff it's just triplets galloping and not even that fast. Easy to play. I break it down and it's just a gallop, then instead of resetting normally you throw in an extra upstroke up front. Easy, right? Nope. Can't do it. Like come on hand, I can play the triplets fine just throw in that extra note. So frustrating. And he makes it look effortless
@Link Freeman my dude, im right there with you. came to this video to see if there was some sort of magic trick he was doing to be able to play it. nope, just plays it like its nothing! back to practicing lol

It all looks so simple, but it's certainly not, talent 👍👌👌👌 I could never play guitar and sing to it, I left it at singing 😀 I'm a big fan of Orbit Culture 💋❤️🙌
Does anyone have a clue if its possible to tune that thing to Drop A, even without evertune? Got the Solar E 1.6 with tune-o-matic Bridge and wondering if its possible.
It’s definitely possible! You may need a thicker set of strings though. Depending on scale length (I’m assuming your guitar has a 25.5” scale, please correct me if I’m wrong though), you’ll need some heavy strings if you want to tune to something like Drop A. I have a guitar set to drop A# with a custom 13-62 set of strings I came up with. I’d recommend using a set like that for drop A, maybe even swap the 62 for a 64. Hope that helps homie!
@@TheAir97 Ok, thanks for that! How much difference does it makes with an evertune (except for staying in tune)? Can you use like way thinner strings then?
@@kntrregulator4075 I’m sure you probably could use thinner strings on an evertune since it holds tuning better, and you even have the option to counteract any tension you put on the strings when you bend/press down hard. However I have 0 experience with an evertune, so I’m really not too sure. I play based on feel, heavy strings are just what feel best to me. However I’m sure you could even get away with using a 56 for a low A. If you haven’t experimented with drop A before, I recommend trying to do some research and even messing around with different string gauges. Maybe even start off with a 60 for a low A and work from there, you might be able to determine if you want to go lighter or heavier. Unless a 60 feels good to you, then go from there and see how the other strings feel to you
@@kntrregulator4075 Stringjoy is the company I use for all of my strings, they have a string tension calculator to help you determine what you want in a set of strings. I don’t use it however, again I rely much more on how my fingers feel with the thickness/tension of my strings. They give you a TON of options for strings, from .008s all the way to .013s and onward. They’ll even make you a custom set for your guitar, that’s usually what I do since I’m very picky with my string sets. I hope you find the string set that works for you bro, never be afraid to experiment

I don’t think this is in E standard and most of their songs are in Drop A or B standard on a 6 string sometimes Drop G and Drop Gb with Carvings

A standard.
Which guitar pick do you use?
Guess Ola´s guitars can be tuned in Z without any issues! :)
It's only drop A on a 27" scale, and they use the drop pedal to sound lower on parts.
So what tuning is this in? F#C#F#BEG#? He is playing a baritone solar right?
I believe they are always tuned to drop A, but they used the drop pedal to go lower. Yes, it's a 27" Solar
