Wow! You seem SUPER HAPPY in Haiti!!!! I am so happy about that!. I love my Haitian brothers and sisters.
Thanks for telling the true story of Haiti from their perspective. I am so happy that what the media has been saying about Haiti is not what you are experiencing.
I am so tired of the lies of the West. One love from Jamaica!

I have always said to my fellow brothers and sisters that any African RUclips bloggers that visited the Caribbean and not stop in Haiti will indeed be incomplete missing out on the true connection of the only African country outside the continent of Africa and being overall the first to overcome Colonialism by Liberal (Runaway African Slaves) and Slaves in the West and the world. It's an extraordinary given love of passion that despite the overwhelming negative narratives from Western media, one still has that love and of passion for one's peoples especially my African peoples. As you're on tour now in Haiti, it will be nice to see you visit the offshore getaways and onshore natural spas, botanical locations (with birds and other creatures unique to Haiti or Hispaniola as a whole), rivers etc. the beside beaches. Yes, I'm curious of the natural resources that make Haiti potentially rich that is kept from main news. Indeed, agriculture is important and I'm also curious just to see from a rural perspective how that has been going; just recalling last year, a RUclipsr by the name of ACE was so exemplary in showing off why Haiti was and still has the potential to be the largest producer of Rice in the Caribbean by highlighting where the peoples were working on the canals to irrigate lands from a main river bordering their neigbhour the Dominican Republic. When I heard you said are introduced to breadfruit chips for the first time in the Caribbean, I was a bit taken back as it is also done in Jamaica and elsewhere in the Caribbean too. Blessings in your journeys🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

As a Kenyan this Haiti series is very exciting. Haitians are just like us. People people relations are very important. Not everything is about (foreign) governments mediating relations between us.
I grew up knowing a lot about Jamaica and a lot of the Caribbean, and even made a lot of friends from there when I went to the US for university. I knew only one guy from Haiti but I never got to talk to him. The women are very beautiful and the men handsome.

Haiti. Lots of Haitian people live in my country and they get no respect from my people. If only they would see the beauty of Haiti they would be silent and show Haitians respect. African Tigress, this trip to Haiti is your magnum opus. You have done something that will go down in annals of history. This is the very first time I am seeing a video that brought the Haitian culture, ethos and cuisine to the forefront. You are letting the world see another side of Haiti that very few of us know exist. One thing I have observed about Haitian people since I came in contact with them in New York, they are very family oriented, and the men are far more committed than other Caribbean. Haitian men respect and protect their women better than other Caribbean men, and they work very hard.
From a teenager, I carry a special love in my heart for Haiti.❤ May God delivers Haiti out of all her troubles!🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏!

My neighbors are Haitian and they are some of the most peaceful and respectful people. I think it’s long over due we stop believing the lies and stigma told about Haiti.
Since in my parents and grandparents time the western world has told us how to feel and that needs to stop.
I loved and admired my Haitian friends in high school in NYC and I didn’t even know the Revolution then. It was just who they are that made me love them.
Africa is preserved in Haiti because Haiti is isolated that was a blessing because you notice who aren’t visiting there isn’t corrupting them with western ways.

I'm very impressed with your French and how well you immerse yourself into the culture. You are a true African queen and treasure. I hope you will visit again when Port-au-Prince is stable; so you can visit more places in this amazing, soulful country that the West is trying to hide from the rest of the world through their negative image of Haiti. Enjoy a piece of the motherland in the Caribbean ❤.

I guess the roughness and violence is all concentrated in Port-au-Prince. Everything here looks like so regular Caribbean-- both the people and the place. Your travels in Haiti are proving to be a revelation, Tigress.
