Update a couple days later: There are only 10 possible train codes, it doesn’t randomize all 1-4 combos. Also, we are now using the (terrible) box zip to skip the Mommylogue and wr is 4:30. More than half of that is spent in the train.
Have they patched anything out yet? The wall with no collision doesn't seem like something that'd be ignored for long

@@halomika4973 it’s far less glitchy. Everything in the speedrun would never be noticed by almost all casual playthroughs. It had some nasty bugs at launch in the settings but they’ve been patched already

Like all games have glitches sometimes their big ones sometimes their small ones, it's just earlier for their to be glitchs in newer games becasue or the fact that their a lot bigger files and stuff compared to older games , but yes security breach was broken as hell.
@@Spytagen yup but to fine a game breaking glitch you need to seek out it and normal play though don’t do that. Ya you can still find some glitches accidentally but it will not harm a normal run

Im really glad that speedrunners from nearly every genre and game decided, "whats the funniest fucking name for a skip" and then rolled with it
Gamers naming something is always going to be good, it's like how you if let a history major name something it's going to explain what it is (e.i. the 10 year war that was 12yrs). Actually there might be more cross over then we know

@@ArbitraryAvery Boomy Zoomies are a thing in a complete separate game though Called War Thunder. It's like a semi-realistic Arcade plane game and you gotta energy fight and one of the tactics you gotta use is a Boom n zoom (Dive on enemy plane and use energy from the dive to flee) but Boomy zoomies is just such nicer to say

I'm sure the playtesters found it (and tons of other bugs / glitches). The game was clearly rushed to release, so it's most likely the devs just weren't given the time to fix it from the heads of enchanted mob.
Cz it's completely random? It's like doing millions of random thing ur gonna release ur hand everywhere in this much larger chapter than the previous one?

The NFT shit and everything else really put me off, and I’m still not buying it, but to the devs credit which I know they aren’t responsible for that side of the game, this chapter is actually pretty great
Yeah. I honestly dislike the lack of the big parts of the controversy in the apology. The NFT’s sounded the most legit but the other stuff is just bad. By now if I were to buy the game it would be for a speedrun.
It's pretty mediocre and it still feels as souless as chapter 1, never saw an enviorment as bland as the ones here since some ps2 games
As cr1tikal said, if they pull shit like that, you already know that they are absolutely willing to bring out all the money-sucking methods they can think of. That’s the purpose of the game. This game does seem scarier than security breach, but that’s not saying much. It’s basically bendy but without any unique ideas and with garishly colored characters.
"Everything else" what else did they do? I know about the NFT debacle.

Honestly glitch wise poppy playtime chapter 2 didn’t have any game breaking glitches during my play through
It wouldn’t be surprising if they rushed to release it because people were starting to see Mob’s true colors and they wanted to soften the blow a bit
@@crowMilatonin eh, if they wanted their big money-maker out, it’d’ve made sense to release it earlier/ without much polish, like most indies like this. Bendy and hello neighbor got too caught up in the moolah side of it and just cashed out as much as they could. I’ll admit that FNAF’s been doing this lately, but that’s *after* the great games, stories, and goodwill Scott had with his fans. Everything up until security breach was a pretty tightly-run ship; Scott definitely had the money aspect in mind, but he knew after FNAF world, he’d have to up his game (literally and figuratively). I honestly hate poppy’s playtime because it only has one unique idea of the hands, as well as the devs being so blatantly money-hungry, and being such terrible people. I hope they don’t get another game theory, they don’t deserve more recognition and money. I’d be very glad if we could infiltrate MOB and burn it to the ground.
The combo isn’t random:
I’ve seen some other let’s players and when you did it it was the same combo which means one of two things:
The combo nations are on a cycle and that’s always the first.
Or
When you first boot up the ch.2 that’s always the first combo and then it starts randomized
Or, it cycles through a much smaller amount of numbers than the 24 possible ones. Another possibility is that 24 is also just not that many possibilities. I have however seen someone's playthrough with a different combo. But, it is true that computers can't do true random.
Yeah maybe we can find a way to predict it!
Once we get enough speedruns done it should be really easy to see what codes are used and what aren't. Also maybe eventually we'll have the code leaked and we could see how the rng works.

Does that not mean that, if you're willing to take the extra steps, you can just yeet your save data on reset and get the same combination every time? Would certainly help with optimization if you can just swing on buttons by muscle memory rather than taking a few hundred milliseconds to identify and enter the correct sequence.

Games r gonna be glitchy. They can’t cover everything. Speed runners thrive on that. Just cuz speed runners can speed run, doesn’t make a game bad
Mate, this game is so much better than security that was breached in glitch factor. We found three glitches for skipping. Green hand spam which is just way too weird to be expectable, milf skip which is just a small error on the size of the trigger that activates the cutscene, and a single small wall that is blocked by an absolute ton of collisions to even get to the skip.
The randomised code isn’t a glitch and this sort of thing happens in every game that has randomised codes.
On the other hand SB was released with Freddy deloads, hide deloads, climb deloads and post patch hide deloads because only a Band-Aid was applied. SB also has a 50 minute video talking about glitches (a lot are just double ups of “you can clone this character by reloading the game and re triggering the cutscene that spawns them”. Oh and then there’s giga monty, a Monty that never stops duplicating and can (nearly) always kill you.
Tbh I like both games. Though in terms of story and pacing Poppy Playtime has got it down better than Security Breach (though even then I can't say that wholeheartedly since the devs of PP are garbage). As much as I am a FnaF kid even I have to say that SB is (at least what the kids say these days) mid.

The differences between chapter 1 and 2 are insane, especially when they somehow where able to about triple the chapter duration
I'd chalk that up to, like a lot indie projects, Chapter 1 being more of a proof of concept and funding campaign.

I kind of expected this to happen, but man, that combination thing was kind of… it would make a lot more sense had they shut the area, let the doors open later. But I guess that wasn’t-
Not even close. Security breach softlocked me on my first playthrough 5 minutes in. Wouldn't let me get in Freddy the first time. So no progression

@@quint2568 It literally takes less than a minute into gameplay to bug out poppy chapter 2..so? and in the 5 minutes it took you to get softlocked someone can beat chapter2.
*There's been new discoveries!*
Firstly, it has been found that the train only has *10* possible combinations coded into the game!
Secondly, it's insanely hard and RNG but by dragging a box and toy head into the first Mommy Cutscene doing some weird movements, you can clip out and completely skip the cut scene!

I will only be engaged in the games purely for the other team members involved who had no say in what the leads did, and just wanted to make an amazing game. That’s it, no other reason. I hated the NFTs, and pretty much all the business moves they’ve done, but the games themselves I will at least watch playthroughs of, because it’s at least special to the team

@@papayadoodlez9994 one of the company owners bullied an ex employee who was a minor, which resulted in them getting checked into a mental hospital. They did this by harassing them and their work on RUclips and through discord and have not apologised to ekrcoaster, the said minor involved. There are also some things about them possibly stealing ekrcoasters game idea but it’s kind of grey on evidence. This is all just on the company guys tho, so many of the developers involved in the game have nothing to do with it.
They destroyed this chapter almost has hard as EnchantedMob destroyed that 15 year old's mental health!

Other options include the “buy { Heylicool } a VPN” gofundme and petitioning your government to provide vpn’s for free, but I can guarantee the effectiveness of neither strategy

Honestly I was watching through a regular gameplay video and I was wondering how you’d be able to skip sections of this chapter, but honestly I never expected it to be so easy to skip pretty much the entire game just by guessing a combination 😂😂
I'd say they should've implemented an alternate scene where longlegs kills you if you guess the code early.

True. I've been here since I saw him beat Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 blindfolded. Since then, I've seen him fight Time Variance Authority Moon Man, run from Giga Monty, and peel an egg. Great times all around! Definitely worth subscribing for!

I had really hoped that If you input the code correctly early mommy would attack you while you were riding it since she would still have been alive at the time. It would have been a really cool secret sequence and more interesting than the buttons just not working.

This is one of the reasons I don't like poppy playtime as much as I would. Aside from the drama, it's just not that polishes of a game. You can skip everything because a few collision boxes were missed. I know a lot of people put effort into it but it feels slightly rushed. It's not as bad security breach, but still needed a bit more work before release. At least the second chapter did. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Edit: didn't mean to start a war in the replies. I still think the second chapter is good, just not as good as it could be. If a little bit more time was taken to work out the kinks, it would be amazing.

There will be no full blindfolded run of chapter 2 it would seem. There are just too many parts that are randomised (as far as I know), like the wack-a-wuggy portion. This run shouldn’t take too long, though,,

What connects Poppy's Playtime to Fnaf Security Breach? Its very easy to skip half the game by mistake. That REALLY displays poor game design
No? You have to walk into the train and enter passwords until you get it right, which if you don't know the colors or order of symbols could potentially take hours.

Poppy playtime chapter 2 is MILES AHEAD of Security breach, it has less bugs that break it and it has better gameplay
