In my experience, Harrods has the same amount of agency staff as Selfridges and the frustrating thing about both is having to ask to try absolutely everything. Les S, Lib & Harvey Nics are so peaceful for trying without having to chat haha.
Yeah I think that’s true but the thing I found with Harrods they’re more permanent so I’ve seen the same faces for months now. I also feel like they have a little bit more knowledge or at least it seems like they care more. I agree man it’s just so nice to be able to shop in peace and ask if you need anything 🤝

I agree with this list no miss I haven't gone bloom perfumery or fortnum & Maison but Selfridges is decent but I prefer going to Harrods unless it's exclusive or you can only try at Selfridges. The staff at Les sentures are so relaxed and helpful when you need it the shop is spacious and lots of brands to discover. Jovoy is an experience I like the unique fragrances and I'll definitely try to go downstairs to see what's there 👀
Bought Oud Maracuja from Selfridges and it was a poor experience. In contrast, Harvey Nichols treated me well when I bought Aventus. Gave me free samples of Hibiscus Mahajad and Mizensir fragrances
Omg I am so please someone else agrees with me regarding the customer service at Selfridges-it’s terrible-they leave you waiting whilst they chit chat with each other and they don’t know the notes in the fragrances, I am having to tell tell the notes my nose is picking up and they just blankly stare😳
Bloom is dead last for me. I'd rather buy a sample than go there, such a crap shopping experience every time - and I've even bought from there. Joyoy, first by a country mile.
@@TJTalksScents sadly not. if you look for stuff like roja, xerjoff, profumum roma, clive christian etc. you have to visit smaller shops where they will observe you all the time. I'll have to visit harrods in the near time for sure!
Selfridges is horrible. Went into Les Senteurs for the first time a couple weeks ago and the two members of staff working were lovely. Harrods is definitely the best overall.

Sometimes The Perfume shop, The Fragrance shop or in Superdrug.
